Got this device to stream iFit on the TV in the workout room. Works great! Also plan to take it on trips so we can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc. without using our personal accounts on unknown devices.

I have the Chromecast on another TV that I have to use my phone to navigate, control the TV, kind of a hassle. This new Chromecast with remote is MUCH nicer to use, thinking of replacing the other one now!

We've been using this primarily for YouTube/Google TV, HBOMax, Netflix and Hulu. It also handles a lot of other services we rarely use. It does much better channel aggregation and discovery than our TiVo Streams 4K and would recommend this over that for YouTube TV subscribers. This means that there is a "Home Screen" that shows your content from multiple streaming services all in one spot, so you can see when new shows are available. Avoids having to hunt for them all the time. It also has it's own "Live" view without having to open the YouTube TV App. We've now purchased three of these and other than the buttons turning a bit yellow with use (why do they make remotes white?!) it works great.

Much better than previous chromecasts. With the included remote and android tv ui, it basically turns any tv in to an android smart tv

The Chromecast with Google TV -4K is the best casting device I have ever owned. The power of Google provides top-notch show/movie recommendations from every media platform I would ever use. My favorite feature is the show me where to watch feature. Google will show me every media provider that has the show/movie I am looking for and if it is free or if I will need to rent it. My only complaint about this product is Google has not added Google Stadia support. This is supposed to be coming sometime in the first half of 2021, but I find it silly that Google could not find a way to add their own gaming service to their newest and greatest casting device. This product is a must buy and has moved my Amazon Fire Sticks to the drawer.

The new Google TV system is fantastic. Has everything from your streaming services in one place, and having tv controls along with assistant on the remote makes for an excellent experience.I have better than my previous roku stick. The remote is a bit cheap, but the value is strong.

Tried Roku and Firestick, still have them.. this is my second google streaming device and love it. I like that I can control it from my phone so no need for a second remote. Rock solid device.

This is great. It added new life to my parent's old LCD TV that didn't have any "smart" software. The UI is intuitive and the controller is easy to use. I highly recommend this even at its retail $50 price.

I purchased this 4k Chromecast as an addition to the older model I still use today. Easy setup and a simple way to share content from your mobile device to your TV.

I have used Chromecast devices since Gen 1. But this is by far their BEST! Being able to navigate apps and media from it's very own remote, is a game changer. It's about time they did this.

This is better then any other streaming device. it creates a nice hub to view all of your streaming services in one location. Highly recommend. I ended up purchasing more then one for other people as well.

Purchased two. Installed one that was able to reach. Remote is simple to use. Enjoying the chromecast with Google tv.

If you already own Android phone, Google speakers, google smart display etc, then this is the streamer to buy. I switched from Fire TV cube to this product and even though I had some doubts after switch, I am very happy now, few weeks after the switch. The easy of integration, customization with apps from Google Play Market and integration with peripherals makes this product much more than just a streamer. And you can even add different languages to use as keyboard entry on your TV. Once you learn and understand this product, you will be really happy with it. The only one minor con is that remote is kind of small for my hands and volume buttons on it's side are not very convenient to press. Other than that, it is great.

Absolutely great I find it better then paying for cable. Easy to set up fast without the ethernet cable converter. If your paying for Netflix, Hulu, etc... this is your best option.

I really like the ease of setting this up! And to have access to what shows are available on different streaming channels visible in one area...GREAT IDEA! No more channel surfing from one format to another!

Great streaming device. Like the presentation better than Apple TV for recommended shows. Love how you can use the Google Assistant on the remote to control smart home services as well as see your Nest cameras.

I really wish TVs would continue to receive software updates instead of all of the new software features being exclusive to the new model each year. Introducing Chromecast. I use this exclusively instead of my $2,700 OLED LG TV's built-in software because I purchased that in 2017 and despite it having the processing power it hasn't gotten any worthwhile software updates since 2016. For me, this is the fix to a problem that shouldn't exist but it's a good fix. It works pretty well with google home too but a lot of programs won't actually open completely via voice command. It will open to the user select screen and ready up the content in the background but you have to select a user before it will start to play. When casting content it is more seamless and fortunately this may be fixed someday because this thing DOES get software updates. YAY.

People who use non-android tv’s like LG or Samsung which run WebOS or Tizen OS, I would say if you are frustrated about how few apps aren’t supported on these platforms could use this new chromecast. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I’ve really liked it. Definitely would recommend.

A true upgrade to the chromecast ultra. Has practically all the streaming apps you need (Except Apple TV+). The included remote can also control most TVs and soundbars so you don't need to use multiple remotes.
