Chromecast 4K works Great With Meta Oculus Quest 2

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Chromecast 4K so that I could cast my Meta Quest 2 video and audio to my 4K LG Television. That way I could help users who had never used a Meta Quest 2 VR system navigate through setting the Quest 2 up. The image on the OLED TV had higher contrast and resolution than the image seen when wearing the Quest 2. The quality of the video far exceeded what I was expecting from the Chromecast 4K. It is an easy and great solution for casting 2D images from the 3D Quest 2 to a high quality TV.

The search is accurate. I'm enjoying my regular tv like smart TV. Google nailed this Chromecast. Best of all streaming aids.

The fact you are able to control source input and not need to rely on smart switching with HDMI-CEC or ARC/E-ARC is great. And it supports all the HDR standards as well. Ended up going witb Apple TV just because it has an ehternet versionbur if i could have kept the Chromecast, I would.

This new Chromecast with Google TV is the best streaming device I've ever owned. It's intuitive, simple to set up and extremely easy to use.

I have all the apps I need for watching what I am interested in. Saves me $125 a month. It was easy to install and set-up.

Made a smart tv out of an older (8 yrs?) unsmart (dumb?) tv. Can now stream Apple, Prime, Netflix, etc. Great gadget. For the price, truly a no brainer.

The UI is much better now and was a cakewalk getting it installed and updated. I highly recommend this if you don’t have a smart tv.
