This chromecast-google gadget replaced an older chromecast. Having a remote is a substantial improvement, over the old one that always required the phone to tune any station.

Makes my basic tv into a smart TV. I love having all of my streaming services logged in one place. I can choose shows from the screen or by casting from my phone or tablet. I love it.

Great addition for a Google Home integrated smart home. Now that it comes with a remote, it makes life a little bit easier, even though Google was a little late to the game with that.

It gets really hot after 3hrs of use, you can feel the aura of heat around it, but software wise I love the layout and how easy it is to navigate through the apps i have.

Work better than the apps in the Tv................. what's left to say

It's a GAME MF'n Changer. You won't regret it. Maybe you will regret watching too much TV.

I've been a fan of the Firestick for quite a while but when I tried the Chromecast with Google TV I was surprised how smooth it was. The fact that I also had access to all my google library of apps was what sold me. All my emulators and utilities work fantastic. You can OTG and add USB storage and Ethernet if you don't have a strong WiFi. Also have tested with PS4 controller and responds quite well using emulators and game streaming. The only cons I can find is the remote being so smooth can easily slip off your hand. It also feels very flimsy but I was able to pair the firestick remote to resolve the issue, everything works but the google assistant button.

I like the ease of use. I had an old chromecast years ago and I'm glad that I upgarded.

It's an excellent product with one major problem. It won't allow you to use Xfinity Stream or the live streaming app for Spectrum Cable. If that isn't a problem for you, you'll really like this. I have no other problems with it.

Very easy and convenient to use. We actually purchased this to connect to our minivan entertainment system for long distance travel, and it is flawless.

Easy to use and easy to update. No need to enter personal information to get it running and I have had no issues, as I expected to not. Get ONE!!!

It’s a great tool to get your best tv options in one. My TV is not new so I can’t get the voice control or the volume but the easy access to my favorites channels is awesome.

When my ps4 died and i needed a new device to be our media streaming player, the Chromecast came in as a savior. The remote control added easier control compared to the first generation one i had for years. Ill be keeping this one for a while.

I had one of the original Chromecast and liked it but this device has so much more, I can't believe that I waited so long to buy it. I especially like the voice control the unit has.

This is great, I love this device. It brings together all the shows/movies that may appeal to you, in one place. So no going and searching through each individual app - Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc. It’s user friendly as the interface is easy to navigate.

Love the interface and integration with apps. One thing that is sort of annoying is the CEC features, when I turn it off(and my shole system) sometimes my receiver will kick back on. Might have to adjust the timing but not sure where that is.

This item is easy to use and compact. This is a easy way to update an old TV, to convert it to a smart TV.

My LG TV did not support Discovery plus so I had to buy something since my subscription to this streaming service had started. It was seamless to install and could not be happier.
