Ended up replacing an Apple TV with this device. Considering it's a fraction of the cost, it's so much more usable than the Apple TV.

They really improved this version of the Chromecast by adding a remote.

Great upgrade over the previous Chromecast. Eliminates the need to use your phone. The remote is very nice.

Purchased it because my Roku's were fighting with each other. Has been working great so far. Just as easy as the Roku.

Easy set up. I purchased this as gift for the in-laws because Smart TVs are too expensive. Very compatible as a substitute.

This is everything you expect from chromecast, but with a very simple remote that is great for people with YouTube TV, or other online TV sources.

Excellent streamer and easy to use. Plug device into an electrical outlet instead of the tv's USB. You will save yourself tons of future headaches.

Awesome, chromecast has a remote now. I love it. it works seamlessly with the rest of my google products. I only wish they had more color options.

Easy set up. All my streaming sites available to cast from my iPhone or directly from chromecast. Haven’t checked for Discovery plus yet. Can drop connection but not often. Very happy so far with my purchase

I would say this is one of good 4k streaming devices for the price. The set up was simple & straight forward with no issues. My wifi did drop a few times during the setup. So I had to repeat some of those steps again

Decided to finally buy this as most reviews have been positive. It does indeed work well and can see all of my streaming apps in one place to make browsing easier. Only a couple of complaints. The first is the remote being on the small side tends to easily slip out of my hand. This also makes it a little difficult to use volume buttons. Only other complaint is that hulu tends to glitch out. Hulu will be working fine one minute and the next minute the image blacks out with the sound still playing. I back out of the show I'm watching and then go back to it to fix issue but happens almost daily and gets annoying. Could be a software issue on Hulu's side but who knows. Other than that the product works fine and I still recommend it.

So far this is best wireless device i've own. Easy to use and very convenient.

Bought when my Nvidia shield stopped powering up. Works great for the price! If you're just looking to stream, you can't go wrong.

Absolutely love this product! I travel 3-4 days out of the week, staying in hotels. I plug it into tv, connect to wifi and easily access all my streaming options. It's sometimes a little difficult to connect to wifi, but found that if you turn off "randomized mac id", it connects much better. OVerall super convenient and functional for what I need.

overall is a good option for the ones looking to improve the performance of a tv with no android software....only reason it didn't get a 5 stars is because when its plugged into a tv it hangs on a oddly way
