Got this for a trip and home used it in a hotel worked great using it at home stream most of my apps

Great product! I gave up cable and only stream now; this puts everything all together and you don't have to use your phone.

Love the upgrade to 4k, worth the extra twenty dollars.

We installed these on our non-smart TVs. They work very well. We bought them when we decided to cut the cord and couldn't be happier.

Works as intended as very well. Having issues getting some things to cast directly to it such as Plex, but it works after I manually use the remote to open the app.

Easy to setup, and easy to use. This device has expanded my viewing choices greatly, for a very reasonable one time price.

Decided on this over a competing product from another manufacturer as I had hoped integrating it with my existing Google Home setup would be easier. While setup was a breeze, I've been having some annoying issues. First, I've connected this directly to my soundbar, which it passes through to my TV. This causes some issues where the soundbar volume continues to display on and off in the top right corner of the TV until completely powered off and back on. This issue did not exist prior to purchasing the Chromecast with Google TV. Second, voice activation of just about anything seems intermittent at best. I'll often say, "hey Google! Open Netflix on the living room TV," and it will say it cannot find the device, etc. The same phrase repeated activates the TV. Occasionally, it will say it has turned it on, but the screen is still black. This may seem trivial to some but why even attempt this kind of technology if it doesn't work the majority of the time? Finally, I was intrigued by the idea of the Chromecast acting as a hub for all of my streaming services and keeping track of shows I was enjoying. This doesn't seem to work with every streaming service, nor does it always remember where I am in a show I'm watching. In the end, I usually end up opening the streaming service directly to get back to my shows. This isn't a huge deal on it's own; it's how I'd normally interact with those services, but one of the reasons I bought this device was for the ability to track everything from one screen. All told, I'm only disappointed with this device as I wonder if the higher-priced competitor would have been a better buy. I can't argue with the value proposition here, and at least Google is a large enough company that I assume they'll try to iron these kinks out...

This chromecast is next level. The 4k is amazing. Now I need to get more of these to replace my regular chromecast. Well done google.

So glad that google finally released a ChromeCast with a remote. The user interface is very easy to use. I need one of theses on all of my TVs.

This was a great addition to our 4K LG TV and an upgrade to our original/older Chromecast with significantly added features.

Had a fire stick! Wanted to throw it out the window. I missed my nexus tv but it's been discontinued. And finally a Google alternative. Love.it

Great product and inexpensive. But the remote broke two months after purchase. Google is sending a replacement but I guess the product is inexpensive because of its cheap plastic parts that make it affordable

It's a good streaming device. Google TV has a simple and easy to use interface. Recommendations are useful and overall the Chromecast works great. There's no airplay support.

Great product. Love the interface, just google needs to work on honing the software to match Apple TV’s robust features. However, for the price this a great product and I highly recommend.

Was purchased because we could not connect to Netflix on our television, we then purchased chrome cast with googleTv and it Worked great!

Using to stream the oculus 2 to the tv, works great, there is a small lag from time to time but it still does a great job mirroring to the tv.
