Like a portable television

Just plug it into the hdmi port of any TV and you have the ability to watch any streaming service you subscribe to. You are also able to cast anything on your phone or tablet that is available to cast directly to a television. Great for travel. Just plug it in to the TV in your hotel room and watch your favorite channels.

If your device is randomly disconnecting from your Wi-Fi network, we recommend performing a factory reset. Here's how to do it:
With the Chromecast Voice Remote:
- In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings .
- Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.
From the Chromecast device:
- While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
- When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.

Small and powerful device. I love that if someone is staying in the guest rooms they dont need to log in or use our accounts to watch what they want on the TV! They can just cast away to the Chrome Cast from their device on their own account.

I have to admit that I love it and use it over the 'Smart TV' menu. I highly recommend it... My one beef though, I do love the slideshow capabilities and this does come with it, but it times out after 30 minutes and there doesn't appear to be a setting to change this. I plugged in my old Chromecast and use that for slideshows!
