You can download video apps, add a USB c adapter to plug in a flash drive and watch downloaded content. Though you need to buy a stronger wall charger, currently using a 45w fast charger for it. I also recently found out you can download VPN apps and watch UK (or other countries) Netflix. I'm really happy with this purchase.

My complain is that I am not a fan that it obligates me to use the Google TV and that they eliminated the Ultra so this is my only 4k option, it only lets me chromecast from my Phone whenever it wants. Also, it doesnt let me generate power from the TV itself you have to connect to outlet others let you do that.

Chromecast with Google TV (4K) is pleasingly much better the the plain Chromecast that is close in pricing. It does so much more. I got it for a friend and now I'm ready to get one for myself.
