So far a pretty nice streaming device. I like how it interfaces with my sound system and TV. Powering it on not only turns on the TV, but tells the receiver which proper input to select.

We love these devices, and they've fit the perfect need through-out our house and multiple TVs. The Google TV experience is smooth, seamless with integrating into your Google account, and has all of the necessary apps. Very open platform as well and easy to side load. 100% recommend!

Great Android TV replacement. Pretty snappy and responsive for the most part. Compatible with all my paid apps from previous Android TV device. Remote is too small and the buttons can be easily accidently pressed, specially those huge YT and Netflix buttons. Volume button is a bit annoying. The default homepage is filled with annoying ads but luckily you can turn this off; setting is quite hidden imo .

A good product, very convenient. It's important to highlight that mirroring capabilities from your iPhone can be limited. Other than that, it works great!

The remote needs some work done on it as it can be kinda flaky and you WILL loose it left and right as it’s about the same size of the Apple TV one which is quite small. Like all things Google I wish their account security was a bit stronger as I’ve had issues with unauthorized transactions and people getting into things that don’t belong to them, BUT I do Like Google products and this a good one

I love my Chromecast Ultra. So i ordered this to upgrade to 4K. But just the added hassle and complexity and not able to get my favorite ambient mode screen as soon as i stop casting is not worth the upgrade. Returning and going back to Chromecast Ultra

Great quality video and easy to set up. I have an extra one that I take with me when I travel to see family, so I can easily display family photos and videos on their TV to enjoy together.

Has been a good investment. I knew that Google has great items, but wasn't sure about this one. I was told to get one by my brother.

This is basically a firestick without the Amazon stuff in your face. No complaints whatsoever. The remote could be bigger in my opinion but that’s about it. I would recommend this over a firestick or a Roku. Only streaming device better than this I would say in the Nvidia Shield which is $200.

I love the fact that I can have my smart TV with my whole Google home system, and the functionality of having all the streaming services in one is amazing. I had an Xfinity Flex box before getting this and this is so, so much better (Flex also does not support Disney+). Only downside is that when I'm casting videos from my computer, the connection freezes or disconnects sometimes on its own.

Good device overall but need some learnings. The integration with other google assistant devices are not seamless. When I ask my Home Hub to turn off the TV - it turns off chromecast only and not the TV itself. Tried with different settings but useless. Also, quick buttons are rarely useful, I would prefer firestick style with Menu button. I can use assistant button to call any app that I want to open.

I inherited my grandfathers television (which is a Vizio) and the male and model didn’t allow smart streaming. Note with the Google Chrome not only do I have all the major streaming apps at my fingertips, I can also smart stream from my phone to the tv. I’m in love!

I honestly REALLY wanted to like this unit, but it doesn't work well with my Sony LCD TV. If the TV is shut off for more than a few hours, the ONLY way this will work again is to unplug it and plug it back in. It won't turn the TV back on, and even if I turn it on manually, the Chromecast device does not function, the screen is blank. Its like it goes into some sort of standbye mode and will not come out of it without a complete restart. I've gone back to my Roku... really kinda bummed. NOTE: This seems to be a common issue based on some internet searches. Maybe a software update can fix it?

Good product, easy installation. A little hard to cast Apple products (hit or miss).

Best streaming device on the market. It's a big value, it runs Android apps with a remote, and it let's you cast from your phone or computer. Runs smoothly. No problems, yet. I really love the optional voice interaction, it's cool.

Great upgrade - buttons need to light up and volume also move to the surface.

I wasn't able to update my old Samsung smart TV any longer, hence I couldn't watch Netflix. This device saved me from having to buy a new TV.

Great stuff. It works very well with my TV. I use youtube and Amazon prime video apps a lo t to watch contents. I also use it to cast content from other sources via my phone and it works seamlessly. The feature I like the most is the voice search command. It's very handy.

Decent for watching, and seems faster than Fire Stick
