You can also save multiple TVs to the device to be controlled with your remote. The best streaming device hands down.

It is also really nice to have a remote but has all the same functionality as all the previous generations. So if you are against using the remote, you don't need to use it.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.don't understand why this thing doesn't work. 1st of i have like 6 chromecast... this one is my 1st 4k unit. once installed and after programming the remote to control the TV and sound bar, this junk would not work right on the chromecast itself. cannot move the cursor to the right to settings.. had to type it in the search screen... then i launched tubi and was fine, then tried netflix and after signing in, could not return to the chromecast home screen. the home button did not work. so the unit is now stuck on Netflix.. will try again tomorrow.. if it doesn't work sending this junk back...

Smooth system, voice search makes life easy. I can control my soundbar power/volume with the remote which I could not previously with the LG remote.

You just need a USB port to get started. The sales rep was helpful in explaining the capability of this device and helped us make the right choice.

Video resolution is distinctly better on Google TV . Would like more options on screen layout.

The best tv experience

Having google TV I can have all the apps plus my personalized notification... And oh did I mention sport updates. Yey!!! It makes smart tv, smarter. Go get it and thank me later.

Being able to tell it what I want to find instead of typing is worth the money. It groups all the apps in one place and just makes it easy. Wish I knew about this sooner lol

Also, having trouble turning tv and chromecast off at the same time. UI much better than other streaming devices but firestick still wins in term of integrating live tv services to channel guide.
