Proceed cautiously!

However, terrible for HDR on certain in the middle LG TVs (like ones that only do HD/HDR). Proceed cautiously if you have this kind of tv as you may be disappointed depending on tv model.

Watching movies gets very bright and very colorful when content in Dolby Vision HDR.

If you’re a cord cutter I’d recommend this, I bought it to experiment on a bedroom TV and quickly moved it to my main TV. It’s now my primary viewing device.

Worked first time and the quality was excellent. Good range of apps for your streaming and you can always cast from your phone/PC too.

The only bit of criticism I can give is related to the remote. I don’t like how the volume buttons are on the side.

Still getting used to how to navigate to different channels, I don't think the user experience is intuitive and easy. When changing to a channel, its difficult to figure out to find the info about the show you would like to view.

He has all his shows saved to it and games too. I think it was his favorite thing he got for his birthday. He takes it with him everywhere. Now I want one!

I’ve got access to 5 different streaming services and this new google chromecast seamlessly connects them all. I like the connectivity to download apps and connect with my wireless air buds.

The ergonomics of the remote could be a little better but it's not a deal-breaker.
