Great streaming device

I love that it has a built-in Google assistant and all you have to do is speak on the remote and it does it search.

You can try these steps that might help you improve your experience:
- Clear the app cache for the app you´re having the video issues with. Go to Settings > then Apps > then select the app that's having the video issue > then select Clear cache and then Ok.
- Check that the batteries in the remote have remaining charges.
- Remove the batteries from the remote.
- Press and hold the Home button.
- While holding the button, reinsert the batteries.
- Hold the button while the LED light is solid.
- When the light starts pulsing, release the button.
- After the reset, set up the remote once again. See this guide on how to set up the Chromecast remote: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/10109990

I don’t House anything on the default 8gb and I can’t keep all streaming apps installed. Otherwise the search feature is game changing. Could use more cpu power.

Better than smart tv

The good thing about Chromecast is being able to use HBOMax which is still unavailable on Roku. It also communicates well with my google home. The only negative is that the remote is too small. Otherwise it's a great device.

Yes Roku can kind of do this but not nearly as well.

And wirh the soon addition of Apple+ this is a must have for any TV in your house.

Give it time since it was just released.
