We replaced our ROKU with this. Our Roku just quit working, so we decided to try this Google device. It works much better!

One of the main reasons getting this was to watch YouTube. Watching my subscriptions is nice, but searching videos is inconvenient. It's better to go on a computer, type whatever, and then add it to Watch Later. One thing I hate the most is the remote's ergonomics. It's so small and slippery, even for my small hands. Google needs to learn remote ergonomics from TV companies. The thing I love the most about the remote is the voice search. It doesn't work well for YouTube, but for general stuff like weather or 'NFL scores', it works great.

Good product but not right for me. Most people will enjoy it but I ended up returning it and purchasing a USB C to HDMI cable to watch movies on my phone on my TV.

It's a good device. It's a gateway to many old movies that I've watched in the past and some that I have not.

Best streaming device out there. Own a roku and fire stick. Definitely has the better system out of them.

Much better than the Chromecast. Directly play from the system instead of having to use your phone to cast to the display.

Fair enough. The UI is slightly laggy and this chromecast is not playing very nice with my several VPNs, but when it works, it is good. Ability to side load apps is what is good about this.
