Hands down the best streaming option out there. The remote makes a world of difference and goggle assistant on this thing makes finding things a breeze. Now I wish my TV in the living room was not a dumb Roku.

Google finally perfected casting and the smart tv. This is great for techies and the tech challenged alike because the interface is so easy. 4K looks amazing and it interfaces with theatre equipment very easily.

So much better than original chromecast. I got tired of not having an ui and only cating from phone. Now has a great android interface, easy to find content and remote is small but does the job. UI is great!

I am using the chromecast with google TV on a google tv. Surprisingly, works quite well. There is some clutter on the home screen- many different apps, suggested programs etc. But overall it works well and gives me the flexibility that has been missing in roku and apple tv etc. So far, I love it. and the portability is amazing. instead of taking a large device around with me i can put this in my pocket. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a ui that is not locked into a media device with ties to a particular brand.

I have the fire stick I wanted to try the google an its so much faster an lts looks nice comes in different colors an the remote it so much better an its 4k the size is small it fit in the back of your tv

I have owned each iteration of the Chomecase. This by far is the best of them all. I have to Samsung TV's that are not being updated any longer. They are both smart TV's but don't offer the newer apps like Youtube.TV or Disney. By adding this, I brought new life into those TV's and even made them better than my newer system. I think I have added about 4 to 5 years more longevity to both. It has every App you want, even Amazon Prime. And that as a surprise considering the Google vs. Amazon wars that tend to go on. But it works here. Everything I need on one HDMI Port. And out of the box, it gave those TV's voice control. Must consider this, and if it is on sale for less than $50.00 then you need to buy it.

This is a great buy to make a dumb TV smart. It's relatively inexpensive, ( vs buying a smart tv) and it does a lot. The voice comprehension is particularly good. It understands what is being asked quite nicely. It's able to tell you calendar events as well assuming you use Google calendar for appointments. What i struggled with a bit was initial password setup and user ids. In some cases you can use a QR code to do that on your mobile or computer. That's a much better option than the on screen keyboard which is painful to use.

Just what I needed to upgrade my old chrome cast and not break the bank. It’s great to finally have a remote and graphical interface and it signed into all of my apps just by syncing my google account

Absolutely loved this product. I specifically bought this hardware to play Fortnite with my 7 year old son. I actually got this particular device as well as the Nvidia Shield Tv which is made to run GeForce Now which is the platform I use to participate in gaming. The $199 price tag on the Nvidia isn't even comparable to the $50 that this system cost me. It was outstanding in every way it possibly could be. It never had any system issues or hardware lags within the tiny shell. I am more than pleased with the purchase I made and would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to do some light gaming or simply enjoy a streaminh movie on any platform the Play store offers you!

I have a tv with Roku built in and I opt to use my chromecast because I prefer the interface as well as having my google account attached. So if I’m away from the tv and come across something I want to watch later, I can add it to my google watchlist and it will be waiting for me on the Home Screen when I get home. The remote does enough and looks nice. (Roku remotes look like toys and I don’t like the loud clicky buttons) The Google tv app can be used as a remote for when you sit down and realize the remotes over on the other side of the room.

This is just what I wanted. My tv is four years old and does not natively have all the apps that I use. I have been left to stream from the apps on my phone which makes it difficult to receive calls. I have to first leave the phone screen so I can pause whatever app I am using then click the app and hit pause. Plus, using a Pixel, I have not been able to stream Apple TV. I was happy to read that Google was going to introduce an upgrade to the Chromecast I was using that would enable me to stream Ted Lasso and have a remote to control all of my apps. I am very happy with this device. If I could have gotten a trade-in for my original Chromecast, the transaction would have been perfect.

Hands down, the best smart device on the market. I love the interface, and remote. You're able to adjust bluetooth headphone volume from the remote which was key for me. I'm ready to buy more for each room.

This device has been amazing. The power, input and volume buttons on this remote sync up with your TV, which is incredibly helpful. And the remote itself is super useful. I find it to be a little too easy to lose/lose grip of, but that can be easily remedied. The Google Assistant on the remote is truly incredible (picks up everything and will tell you things like the weather and answer general questions!). My favorite feature of using this new Chromecast is definitely the Watchlist and the single dashboard for all of your channels/apps/shows. Everything is in one place. You can add shows on ANY platform to a single watchlist, and you can find all of your recent shows (from any platform) in one place. It's incredible!

Really good interface. Puts all the services I’m subscribed to in a easy to access format where it would let me know in which services I can watch certain movie or show just by pressing one button.

best streaming device on the market. 4k quality - streams flawlessy with good wifi connection easy to use a bit expensive but you can purchase at best buy when on sale for 49.99. a great bargain

The navigation is simple and clear. It moves quickly and cleanly. Well organized. Occasionally an app crashes and there is a storage limit on the number of apps you can download.

Really lived its display quality and ease of use and easy to cast from almost any app from a phone or rab. LOVED IT. I gifted another one to my friend and he also loved and enjoying it.

Samsung built in apps kept crashing and were unreliable. Completely satisfied with tis purchase. Easy to set up. The interface is perfect for my use, and easily connects to other google devices.

This is my first chromecast and I'm not disappointed. It powers on much faster than the firestick does. It easy to navigate and the picture is excellent. I'll be replacing the firestick on the other tv's
