easy setup nice apps. very quick on switching between apps and connects to your google account

I bought this for a family member who has never owned anything smart other than a laptop and they absolutely love it. I have owned one for a few years now and I also really enjoy it (needs more storage though) and it was worth every penny. I hate having to pay full price but it was for a birthday and I had no choice. Keep an eye on the remote as it tends to grow legs and hide.

Great replacement to my chromecast ultra. Image quality and wireless performance are improved. The device is sleek with a completely overhauled ui from the previous chromecast. Voice control needs some tweaks that the old chromecast did better but that should occur over time in free future updates. Looking forward to this being a good travel device. It would get 5 stars from me if it had a web browser. For now the service you want to stream needs to have an Android app available in the Google play store. It has unofficial Google stadia support for cloud gaming also but that service is still a work in progress.

The product is easy to use and performs as expected, including the voice activated commands.

Solid interface. Responsive controls. Reasonable setup. Particularly useful for those who are heavily invested in the Google ecosystem.

Great improvement over previous versions. Got this specifically so I could set up an iptv. Works great.

I use the chrome cast on two tvs, one is an HDTV without apps and the other is a kitchen TV that is not heavily used. This lets us stream all of our favorite shows or live sports when we are not around our main TV with the cable box. Since they are infrequently used, it’s great to pay once instead of monthly for HD content, and the interface is sooo much better than FiOS or Xfinity.

Works perfect having all my streaming services under one interface and single remote it's great!

I really enjoyed this for the first 8-9 months after purchasing. It made casting to my tv easy and the universal remote feature made handling a sound bar, tv, and chromecast easy. In the last 2 months, it has started dropping devices that it can control from the universal remote feature (now using 3 remotes to control 3 separate devices when this was able to control all before). I've tried updating the software and repairing the remote but nothing has worked. It still functions as a streaming device but the remote has definitely become more of a hassle seemingly out of no where

The Chromecast with Google TV is worth the money. It has replaced our NVIDIA shield due to the updated interface which we think makes it easier to use. I've purchased two of these devices. I did have an issue where the remote became disconnected from the device. I contacted Google support and they walked me through a factory reset of the remote (Remove batteries + press/hold the home button + install batteries). It's been working great ever since!

A step up from other streaming devices. Love the interface and ease of use!

Amazing little device. Works great! Much more responsive than my Vizio's smart tv features. I also love having the remote instead of having to pull out my phone. I've bought into the google ecosystem, so having an assistant button on the remote and being able to talk into it is pretty cool too. The ability to add storage and stuff through usb-c is pretty cool too! Check out youtube videos on that. Very cool device.

Not the easiest to install. But once that's done, it is so much fun to use! I bought it for the ability to cast from my phone. It's great! I highly recommend it!

Super easy to use, just plug it in and go! It turns any TV into a GoogleTV device you can use to watch all the things! To be fair to get the most out of this you'll also need the Google Home app and a Google account too but most people probably already those.

Since Google and Roku are fighting it out, we've had to move away from Roku. We purchased a couple of the new Chromecast with GoogleTV units. Boy, are they great! Anyone that uses YoutubeTV must have these! The guide is right on the home screen. So is a lot of your library from your YouTubeTV DVR. Google was very smart to add the remote and to un-tether the Chromecast from your phone while keeping the casting capabilities.

Very nice to bundle a variety of apps in one place, its is fast and the Chromecast 4k is a great bonus!!

I have a mixed household as we use both Chromecast and Amazon Fire products. I have been very pleased by the updated Chromecast with Google TV and have been using it primarily on my TV. No lag, Loads and responds quickly. None of the issues I've been having lately with our Fire products. Strongly recommend
