Great streaming features. Very simple to use and set up. Remote very convenient

It was easy to set up and was able to watch shows within minutes. The controls are easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. The mute button is right next to the power button which can be problematic for some people. Overall, a good product!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. I needed something affordable and easy to use. Once you sign in with your existing gmail account you have access to the google play store. I chose this over roku because of the large collection of apps, ease of use (parents)

WiFi chip went out on my TV so i couldn't stream anymore. With this low cost investment I was able to start streaming again and I gained access to more options. Also, elected me to connect with Goggle Home.

This is an excellent streaming device that allows you to access virtually everything you could with either ROKU or the FIRESTICK but additionally lets you access the Google Play store. That alone should be the reason anyone would choose the Chromecast over the competition. Where the other devices are limited, Chromecast does not have these barriers. Essentially giving users more options to customize their streaming experience to their preference. The additional option to add a separate USB-C hub with ethernet port makes the Chromecast the clear winner in the battle for streaming stick supremacy. I have my Corsair K63 connected and everything is working properly.

Got this to aid in Smart TV that is just old enough not to allow "casting" to anymore. Easy to set up (even I could do it!!), intuitive controller, and voila -- no more casting issues! Just starting to explore other options and having had a Firestick before, I'm quite happy with this as a replacement.

The physical design is improved with the sleek form factor and the use of the remote makes it easy to browse and watch my shows without needing to search on my phone or other device to cast it to the chromecast. Price point is good and I would definitely recommend this over the competition.

OHHHH Man! I love the Google TV - so clean of interface when browsing my selections. The only issue I have is I can't have multiple accounts with the Google Services so my kids end up listening to music or watching youtube under my account. We pay for premium and now I get recommended kids videos.

What an upgrade Chromecast. This is a major step change in performance. Not quite the shield, but 1/4 the price. It can download most apps including HD Homerun which cannot be done on Roku. I'm using on my outdoor TVs and my game room TVs. Had a great deal at launch with Netflix bundle.

I've had this for a while and while 90% of the time it works flawlessly, there are those times where it will be sluggish or just not work at all. A simple unplug and replugging of the power seems to fix it for a while but overall I really enjoy these.

I keep forgetting this is a Chromecast too because with apps for things like YouTube and Netflix and all the major streaming and cable TV services, I never reach for my phone anymore. The remote makes it super easy to get around to what I want to see, often more quickly than scrolling around on my phone.

I had been waiting for a Google streamer ever since the Nexus Player from years ago, and this is the perfect device. If you have a Google oriented smart home, then this is a great addition as it can be managed with the rest of the devices in the Home app. As for the operation, the new Google TV interface is much more tailored for personal viewing with smart suggestions of what to watch next and having a system wide watchlist across all your services. It is a bit more complicated of a UI than standard Android TV, like you would find on an Nvidia Shield, but once you get used to it's more helpful for finding content. I would say the only negatives so far are the fact that featured content can be from services you don't subscribe to, which can be annoying but not a deal breaker for me. Also I've noticed the plastic remote is already getting slightly creaky in one spot after a month, but I barely notice it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this as the cheap streamer to get, especially if you're already invested in the Google ecosystem.

I barely watch anything on my tv since I mostly use my computer but this little device has changed that! Love how fluid everything moves on the device and the remote is quite lovely to use! Wish it didn't have the company buttons on there but hey, that's the world we live in now, it seems.

Google nailed this one! This is so simple and easy to use that you don't even have to lookup the instructions online. Only complaint is that remote is a bit slippery but you can get a cover with some grip online for a few bucks.

This is way better than the Tivo Stream 4k! It's cheaper, faster, more ram, and has more features too. It's also easier to setup with soundbar, etc. Be sure to download the android tv remote app, to make it even more convenient. i hope someone makes a case for it, because the remote seems very fragile.

I was skeptical about getting an external device for my shows but i had to in order to watch crunchyroll on my samsung tv. This things is actualpy is to use and youtube works way better on this as well. Glad i got this!

As far as interface user-friendly and convenience this is the best streaming stick on the market. I currently have Xfinity as my cable provider and if it wasn't for them having their live service app available on Roku, I will have these throughout every TV in my house. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great little way to turn that older TV that's been sitting around to a smart tv. Despite casting stuff onto your ipad or whatever. You can sign on to all the different streaming services easily. Set up was easy and didnt take long. As long as your internet connection is solid-- your all set
