I got it for an older TV that was not a SmartTV. An easy to use interface. I would suggest getting a silicone sleeve for the remote since it small and slippery. Connect to my WiFi easily and kept a consistent connection.

Has its quirks, but it's great, it easily allows you to access multiple streaming services. The quirks - it won't always update its continue watching list properly from all streaming services, so your list might show a few program's you've already fully watched

The streaming device Google Chromecast with Google TV (4K) that I purchased was an excellent buy. The product was easy to activate. I have not experienced any problems with the product so far.

Its a great chromcast replacement as it comes with a remote. I own 3 of these because they are so good. I have 1 in the living room another in my room and another in another room. This is honestly a great way to make a tv a smart tv.

Finally, the Chromecast is a contender in the living room! Before now the Chromecast was ok... but not ready for primetime. Now it is! I do not know what took them so long to add a remote, but it changes everything! This is not a true competitor to Apple TV!

I've had this now for almost a year, it's great! Easy to use and makes any TV with an HDMI input a smart TV if it's not. I use it everyday and does not disappoint. You can access almost all the movie watching apps out there.

Wonderful addition to the Google Smart Home devices. Especially love that casting is seamless and that you can use the official Google app as a remote and hub/dashboard.

This is a very useful and reasonably priced addition to any home system as well as a device to take on the road/vacation. Easy to set up and use. Only downside is that this version requires use of the included power module. Previous generation versions could be powered by the TV USB port which eliminated wasted power and extra wires.

Long overdue product for Google. Finally they put an on-tv interface on their chromecast devices. Great connectivity and program tracking with the streaming services. When you compare to the competition (like Apple's TV) it is amazing what you get from this.

Awesome and simple. Sideload stadia for even more fun with a controller. On the streaming side of things this works well. It suggests stuff but also tells you what platform its on AND if you have an account will automatically take you in. Does 4k/60 + HDR10.

Turns any old TV into a smart TV. It turned my mom’s nearly 20 year old TV into a cutting edge display. Goolge’s interface is much nicer than Fire TVs and Roku.

Love love this. I’ve always been a fan of chrome cast and this makes the whole experience better. The remote is the best part. Easy access to YouTube and Netflix which are my most used entertainment apps. Voice search straight from the remote is unbeatable.

I ended up purchasing this when my wife and I went into the hospital for the birth of our son. It was easy to set up. Still use it every single day would recommend.

I was hoping to be able to cast to this from my iOS devices but that only works with a third-party app and only with some media. (If I had done my research I would have known better.) The new interface is nice and easy to use, serving as a great combined hub for most streaming services.

Took a bit of getting used to compared to the original chrome cast I have, but this is amazing once you have it all set up! The ability to have all my subscriptions in one spot makes life easier. I use mine everyday for shows and kids movies

Hands down improvement from the original Chromecast of 2017. Cleaner interface, faster processed and connectivity make this a much better experience. Only gripe is that voice control still lags behind any of the Amazon products (no voice search or control in certain apps is a glaring omission). Another one that may seem obvious is no Apple TV+ support.

I'm still learning to use this new Chromecast, but I like it. I have the Chromecast without the remote control on another television and am considering switching it to Chromecast with Google TV. I like the ease of accessing different streaming services.

Wanted to try this out in place of my Rokus as they can be a little laggy even with the top of the line version, plus everything in my home runs with Google. I absolutely love the smooth interface that is easy to navigate and customize to what you want!

I've used firesticks in the past but I won't go back after getting a Chromecast. Hooks up to all my other google devices and it easy to travel with.
