I got this via online with pickup at the store. Very fast and convenient. I have used the original Chromecast and various versions of ROKU also. The newest chromecast is greatly improved. It supports 4k and wifi performance is good. It now has a companion remote control that is easy to use. In addition to voice search, some dedicated service's buttons and navigating the menus, the remote can control your TV volume and input selection. In addition to the old method of casting "whatever" is on your phone or PC to the big screen, the new menus support a lot of dedicated apps and streaming services. Unfortunately, even if you have previously setup accounts for them, it is required to enter the userid/password one more time for each service for the new Chromecast to remember it.

While we sought other products that were an immediate need for our business meetings with our clients while on business travel status, we also found other items that were needed. This item was useful in our presentations and readily available to us at an affordable price. We thank the in-store associate that led us to this particular item that helped enhance our representation to our clients!

that remote makes it a breeze navigating the channels rather than using your mobile device to cast it every time. And a lot of apps. There is no lag either to navigate the ui. I would say, worth the 50 bucks.

Great new chromecast. This was the device that allowed us to finally cut the cord. We have youtubeTV and the integration with the live guide and all of our other content in one place made the change fairly easy. There are some hiccups however. The main one being the remote. It is easy to use however on more than one occasion it locks up for lack of a better word requiring a hard reset of the chromecast itself. This is annoying to say the least because you then have to go through all of your services again and log in, download the apps you want and pair the remote. The other remote issue is that it is, in my opinion, extremely touchy. If you have this set on an arm rest of your couch and you just brush it with your hand or anything, it turns off, changes channel, goes to the home screen, you get the idea. I also dislike the placement of the volume rocker on the side. Not very ergonomic. All in all I would recommend this product, my hope is that somehow a 3rd party company can release a better remote. Hmm I wonder if a Logitech Harmony would work.....

I use this rather than having cable. I don't really watch tv programs so this works great. Especially love being able to cast chrome from my PC

Purchased two. Installed one that was able to reach. Remote is simple to use. Enjoying the chromecast with Google tv.

This new Chromecast with Google TV was super easy to setup. I needed a way to install a couple of basic apps on a simple non smart tv. Now the TV is smart. The best part is that I don't need to cast from the phone.

Excellent product. Works great. No problems. 100 times better than firestick. I have 2 nvidia shields the newest one and the oldest. This is a great alternative if you dont want to spend a lot of money..

Great video qualities. Very fast and simple to use. Works with all of my Google and other additions lights.

So far this has been pretty cool to play around with and I'm guessing that it automatically plays video in 4k which that's why I bought it to stream in 4k since I have a brand new 65 inch 4k tv too.

Awesome remote that works with television. The remote works with our Samsung television and has the ability to turn the TV on and off as well as control the volume. Worth it!

Got it for my sister in law that had the original chromecast that came out and just died. She said she loves the new one waaay more than the other one

As an owner of previous Chromecast and audio devices this new version is by far superior. With the addition of a remote that controls the imput as well as volume you cant go wrong

Amazing, I previously owned the gen 2 chromecast and this is definitely a step up, the quality is great and I love the Google TV interface, it makes searching easy because everything is in one place. It's a must buy.

Easy to install/connect. The only thing is I can’t make it work with my sound bar so I have 2 controls now. Must be user error

We have been using this product for over a month. it has met all of our expectations. Lots of programming apps that can be downloaded & used. Disney, Discovery+, Plex TV, Pluto TV, etc. so many. very simple Remote!
