I got this because it runs apps a lot better than the native operating system on an older TV that we have. It’s exactly what I needed.

Really like the Chromecast with Google tv! Better than my other competitive streaming devices, especially using it with YouTube tv...much better interface. It's smooth, fast and easy to use.

Great option for make my old TV on Smart TV. The good about it´s a can send almost every thing on my smartphone like a spotify´s audio. Pictures take could see on my tv. And the control it´s fell very compact but functional and buttons with quick acces to services like Netflix or Hulu.

I bought this to steam my shoes and I really love it. Good price and you can watch a lot of shows.

Got tired of connecting my compute to the TV. This makes it easier to watch channels or programs that are on the smart tv. Have a little trouble with PBS Passport - but that could be user error.

I use it with my epson proyector and is amazing to cast movies and pictures

This is the best. With the remote it gathers all shows in one location, even if you do not have access to the APPs. The remote makes it easy to navigate and google voice makes searching easy. Highly recommend.

While we sought other products that were an immediate need for our business meetings with our clients while on business travel status, we also found other items that were needed. This item was useful in our presentations and readily available to us at an affordable price. Great product! At first, after setting it up, I was having a problem where the tv screen would go black every so often. After a quick google search, I found out that the problem was that I had it connected to a CEC HDMI port. After switching it to another port and disconnecting it and reconnecting it to the power, it now doesn’t do that. Works well and I love the tv controls for power and volume. It is a bit awkward though that the volume controls are on the side but it is similar to a phone or any modern day mobile device. It works a lot better than the airtv mini I had which would disconnect very often. Gives me peace of mind knowing its designed in house by Google so the software and hardware work together.

Bought this and it’s amazing great picture quality using youtube tv and hulu and it looked would recommend.

Got this device to stream iFit on the TV in the workout room. Works great! Also plan to take it on trips so we can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc. without using our personal accounts on unknown devices.

I love the Google Chromecast. It's inexpensive but provides a lot of options to view many channels. It's also easy to use.

I have the Chromecast on another TV that I have to use my phone to navigate, control the TV, kind of a hassle. This new Chromecast with remote is MUCH nicer to use, thinking of replacing the other one now!

We've been using this primarily for YouTube/Google TV, HBOMax, Netflix and Hulu. It also handles a lot of other services we rarely use. It does much better channel aggregation and discovery than our TiVo Streams 4K and would recommend this over that for YouTube TV subscribers. This means that there is a "Home Screen" that shows your content from multiple streaming services all in one spot, so you can see when new shows are available. Avoids having to hunt for them all the time. It also has it's own "Live" view without having to open the YouTube TV App. We've now purchased three of these and other than the buttons turning a bit yellow with use (why do they make remotes white?!) it works great.

I really wish TVs would continue to receive software updates instead of all of the new software features being exclusive to the new model each year. Introducing Chromecast. I use this exclusively instead of my $2,700 OLED LG TV's built-in software because I purchased that in 2017 and despite it having the processing power it hasn't gotten any worthwhile software updates since 2016. For me, this is the fix to a problem that shouldn't exist but it's a good fix. It works pretty well with google home too but a lot of programs won't actually open completely via voice command. It will open to the user select screen and ready up the content in the background but you have to select a user before it will start to play. When casting content it is more seamless and fortunately this may be fixed someday because this thing DOES get software updates. YAY.

Tried Roku and Firestick, still have them.. this is my second google streaming device and love it. I like that I can control it from my phone so no need for a second remote. Rock solid device.

Great Product for a TV that is not smart. I this one better than the old one because I don't have to use my phone for a remote it comes with a remote

The new Google TV system is fantastic. Has everything from your streaming services in one place, and having tv controls along with assistant on the remote makes for an excellent experience.I have better than my previous roku stick. The remote is a bit cheap, but the value is strong.
