They work as intended without technical issues. Make sure your network is setup correctly and you will be pleasantly surprised how well these work.

Easy to use and setup. Makes it so easy to play thing from your phone or other Google Home connected devices to the TV.

Received software update right out of the box. My only complaint is this device will hang for a few seconds after leaving an app. hopefully an update will fix this issue.

Thanks for your valued feedback. We're sorry for the hanging issue with your Chromecast with Google TV.
You may try performing the steps below to try and fix the issue:
- Ensure that your Chromecast is connected to your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- If it does not work, you may try restarting your Chromecast by going to Settings > System > Restart.
- If it's still unresolved, perform a factory reset on the Chromecast with Google TV.
a. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the Chromecast device for at least 25 seconds or until the solid LED light turns into a flashing red light.
b. Once the LED light turns blinking white and the TV goes blank, release the button. The Chromecast device will begin the reboot sequence.

Compared with Chromecast Ultra, this model is better other than ethernet connection. But you can buy a usb-c based hub that provides faster ethernet connection if you really need the wired connection. My only complaint is the Google should provide a version of Chrome suitable for TV boxes. You can side-load many apps. If I am tied to Apple ecosystem exclusively, I'd go with a Roku product, for others, this should be the product to have
