First of all Chromecast is the best streaming platform out there (including the almighty Roku). It easily has the best selection of apps and it can do Google Stadia, if you like video games. I am a fan of combat sports and like that it has Bleacher Report and the Fite TV app, which are hard to find on other platforms. My two biggest concerns are the poor design/button layout on the remote control and also the UI can be clunky and a bit slow to respond at times. But I still really like it and would recommend it to anyone who wants more variety in app selection.

The biggest gripe I have is that you cannot filter out movies / shows that you have to pay for from free. I would like to browse only free shows (from services I pay for), but can't. I rarely use this any more, and instead rely on my roku devices.

To help prevent seeing paid options from certain apps, we recommend that you uninstall or remove the app if you don't have a subscription with them.
