The biggest gripe I have is that you cannot filter out movies / shows that you have to pay for from free. I would like to browse only free shows (from services I pay for), but can't. I rarely use this any more, and instead rely on my roku devices.

To help prevent seeing paid options from certain apps, we recommend that you uninstall or remove the app if you don't have a subscription with them. This will help suggest movies only available in the apps you're subscribed to. I went this route because its cheaper. Works well and easy to use. I would like to a function of making non-4k streaming, 4k. But maybe down the line

I have never used google tv before - but love some of the features this brings * You can connect wireless headphones to the chromecast and listen to whatever I am watching on the TV * You can install games and play them with the controller * The device gives you suggestion on what to watch next (Waiting for multiple accounts/profiles feature - that is something missing) * The controller connects to your smart TV nicely and you can turn it on and use the volume buttons as well.

It is handy that you can access to lot of most streamlining apps. You can also set up Chromecast with multiple google accounts to have individual profile.
