The 4K resolution is amazing and I don't even have a 4K TV. I will admit it is extremely hard signing into some of these apps on the Google Chromecast simply because you have to activate it on your cell phone or through a website. Some of that is not as straightforward as it could be but it is doable. The only thing that I wish it had or that I wish it could do was rewind or fast forward like the other apps on your cell phone allow you to do.

I bought it to stream the Apple+ TV app because my TV is a few years old and I wasn't able to download it from the Google store. I bought a Roku stick first and it was horrible. The chrome stick is much better but it does buffer at times. I have the highest speed internet so i know it's not my wifi. I would definitely recommend this product.

Can unplug and take anywhere and it works so flawlessly. I love that it recommends things for me to watch based on shows or movies I have seen.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i just purchased the google chromecast. i have also purchased the roku 4k and the amazon firestick 4k. i have found the chromecast has a lot of the same apps has both of the other streaming media players have. i just with it had the spectrum app like the roku. if you are a spectrum cable subsriber the roku is what you want. it processes changes very quickly. going from one app to the other. i am still working and trying to find out everything is has available to me.

I liked the Roku's but 2 of them died within a couple weeks of each other, so I thought I'd try these. I have Google Home's throughout the house and this accompanies those very well. I can now use my TV stereo as another speaker in the home group. So far I love them. My only complaint would be they are a little slippery. I tend to drop them more than previous remotes, but that could just be me :-)
