I like this device better than the built in smart features that came with the TV. It's absolutely faster no question about it. Since it's Google you have access to all the apps available (some devices block streaming services from competitors). Easy to add apps and then access them. It boots up fast, it launches apps fast, and it starts playing content fast. Love it.

Of all the streaming devices out there, this is my favorite. Yes, it has some areas for improvement, but I like the speed of moving between menus, the layout of menus, the ease of finding what you are looking for, and the variety of apps. I would love to see google improve on the storage capacity. I must mention that the price is right.

I've tried all the streaming sticks and this one is my favorite by far because of the casting ability. I love that the remote can be synced to your TV and my Pixel 4A 5G has the controls built into it in case I don't have the remote next to me. I've owned Chromecasts since they first came out but this takes it to the next level

This device is amazing, I already had the Chromecast device and was using it on my TV, it has some glitches and other issues so when I saw this come along I decided I would try it out. This is like Apple but so much more and a very friendly user. Once you are set up you have every channel at your fingertips and the rest of it is just a voice search away. Great product

Easy to setup. Can control tv volume too. Can cast from phone, laptop etc as well. Fast and simple. Has various media applications.

Setup was a breeze. Pic quality on my oled looks fantastic. Menu is responsive.

This is a great option for anyone looking for a simple way to add streaming services to their TV. I've even added a few of these to my "smart" TVs because the interface is so much easier and more useful.

We had a version of a Samsung TV that did not have apps for YouTubeTV, Amazon Prime, or HBO Max. Installing this chromecast allowed us to regain the full functionality of our Samsung 4K TV. It is easy to install and set up, and we especially like that the Google TV software provides us with one place to go to find programs and movies on all of our subscription platforms.

We have one of these on each TV with a YouTube TV subscription and we haven’t looked back. Setup was super easy and easy sync with my google account. We even take the YouTube TV on vacation with us and stay connected. Devices sit nice and flush behind the TV or behind the Receiver.

Works well. I like to listen to my internet radio stations through my home entertainment equipment and lost the ability to do that. My Total Tech rep suggested this and the user interface is better than the TV's and I can listen to music again when not watching TV. Easy to set up.

I own a roku TV, an android TV, and the old chromecast and the operating system on this is by far my favorite - I love that I don't need to go into each app to browse/resume shows because recommendations and recently watched media shows up on the home page! I also really love that the remote can turn my TV on/off - it's an old-ish TV and my previous chromecast couldn't do that!

I travel quite a bit for work, so I purchased this as my travel companion to keep me occupied while on business. Our home is outfitted with several Google smart home products, so my viewing preferences and options followed me wherever I went. Simple and easy to use if you're familiar with the layout.

We needed 7 for our fitness studio MVMT LAB as we have video technology of exercises using Cloudfit.tv technology!!! I want to switch my home tv sticks as Chromecast is awesome!!! Easy to use!

Very easy to setup. The remote seems cheaply made compared to other remotes, so I hope it holds up over time. I purchased this to use with YouTube TV and it works quite well with it so I am a satisfied customer.

I have really enjoyed this product as my main streaming device even though I have several Fire Sticks. I enjoy the user friendly interface. My only gripe is that I was not able to download the xfinity streaming app from the native google play store but other than that I have been able to watch everything anyway.

The chromecast itself works about the same as earlier models. The user interface was workable. A nice touch was the ability to program the YouTube button to go to wither YouTube or YouTube TV. The interface was workable, without being outstanding. The remote was another matter. It's clunky and a bit hard to navigate with. It's small, especially for big hands, and it can use more buttons and features. They do have a remove control that's based in a mobile phone, but it doesn't work much better. One annoying trait of this device is that it goes offline if not used for a given length of time. The old Chromecasts would show a selection of background images, and that is what this version sould have done by default. Instead, it just goes black, so switching HDMI inputs to the one Chromecast is on will result in a blank screen and the television informing the user that there is no HDMI signal. Pushing a button on the remote brings up the interface after a few seconds. The YouTube interface seems inferior to the one on Roku. Also, Tubi does not have the My List function on the sidebar as it does on other streaming devices. Ther were a few other apps with similar problems. I returned it and went back to using Roku, which can still access YouTube TV through the regulare YouTube app. Perhaps the next version or an update will bring better functionality.

Easy to install, easy to use; works great ... We get You Tube TV which gives us our local stations plus, plus. This definitely beats our cable.

Good user interface. Easy to operate. Hope they add apple TV app support.

Good value for the money. Easy and fast set-up. The voice assistant works amazingly well and it is nice that it isn't always listening for a wake word. It only listens when the user presses a button. The remote control fits nicely in the hand. No more fumbling for a tablet or a smartphone to pause, rewind, or fast-forward like one had to do with earlier Chromecasts.
