I have always had FireSticks or TVs with Chromecast built in. This new addition of "Google TV" is pretty awesome. Looks very similar to the layout of FireTV, but as a Google fan I much prefer this. The clicker is a bit hard to keep track of though.

Google Tv is a gamechanger. I have a smart tv, but opted to use this instead as it is MUCH faster and keeps everything all in one UI. I can also game on it

This thing is so much better than the old Chromecast! It does need to be plugged in the wall and not the TV, the remote controls the TV vol as well! Has all sorts of pre loaded apps and services.

Love this product, Way better than the amazon fire stick in my opinion controls are easy as well as being able to stream from my computer to my tv witch I Love, it’s also the best bang for your buck.

If you're looking for a great streamer running Android and don't want to spend the money on an Nvidia Shield, this is definitely the way to go. Love the Google TV interface (does need more integration with more apps for the "Ways to Watch" feature to be able to curate more content). I would like the option to have the UI on my Nvidia Shields. 4K HDR playback is good. Will say that there are some apps that needed to be updated with some not supporting Atmos currently (Disney + and Movies Anywhere) and VUDU does not support 4K or Dolby/Digital/Atmos at present. Also, the Apple TV app is not supported. This is not a lack of features of the device, devs just need to update the apps. For those looking to sideload apps, it can be done. Just google "enable developer options chromecast with google tv." The remote control is on the small side and does feel a little flimsy compared to a Fire Stick Remote if that's what you've been using. It does work well although you will not have individual Play/Pause or fast forward/rewind buttons. Overall, great streamer, especially for the price.

I like the user interface alot, but unfortunately it doesn't incorporate my services all to well. The remote is absolute junk. It's the length of my middle finger and really not that wide either. It's very awkward to hold. Why Google didn't use their own G20 remote is mind baffling. I thought i would like the device, but it got unplugged and put back in the box.

My Dad loves watching his Youtube videos. This one came with a controller, compared to his previous 1st Gen Google Chromecast. Plug and play. All you have to do is connect it to your home wifi and you can start watching instantly.

It works great and the Google TV dashboard is nice. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star is that it can lag at times.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. I needed something affordable and easy to use. Once you sign in with your existing gmail account you have access to the google play store. I chose this over roku because of the large collection of apps, ease of use (parents)

I bought this so we can get HBO max, and it doesn't disappoint. The remote is exceptionally easy to use, and it features a dedicated button for Netflix and YouTube. The voice recognition sets the standard in my experience, I think Siri can take a lesson here. The 4k resolution is impressive. Well done.

My 2016 Samsung TV has started not getting new apps (Peacock, AppleTv, etc), so I got this. It was easy to setup and works well. Even brought it with on a trip and used it in my hotel room (had to setup my phone as a hotspot to bridge their wifi connection, but not a big deal)

I got this for my smart tv app that was not working and hook this up and have no issues and it is smoother than the one that was integrated with my television

Really enjoyed the speed and feel of the device but like most other platforms was not a fan of the number of ads and system that promotes content they want you to buy. If you need something to take with you on a road trip and want to stream don't hesitate and get this one. You will get Dolby Vision and Atmos if your system can support it. Trust me this is the one to get.

Absolutely love it, my first gen sony 4k with android tv was starting to have major issues with the OS, got this to help shore everything up. The remote is great, voice searching works fast and gives options to how to watch a specific show, or just searching YouTube. Would recommend to anyone.

I finally bought it. I was long enough for an upgrade and I finally decided to get it. The wait is over and the interface is amazing and so easy to use. Once you link your streaming apps, google will recommend a bunch of shows, movies based on your likes and needs and it's very easy setup.

OMG FANTASTIC! I used to have just a regular chrome cast but if you're inbetween this and the normal one, get this!! The remote is super easy to use, plus the home screen is super personalized. I've used roku, amazon fire sticks and everything in-between but this has been by far my fav purchase for my tv!

I've been using streaming devices for almost a decade,my go to was always the 4K if you're looking for an Android TV device other than the Nvidia shield which is costly this is the best option available hands down this will knock the fire stick out of its spot as king of streaming devices wait and see

I love my Chromecast with Google TV, I recently switched from an amazon fire TV box and the I immediately noticed the difference. Not only does the Chromecast connect me to my apps it also connects directly to my Google Home Hub and allows for hands free operation. I have no problem with freezing or lag as I did with the amazon fire tv box. Great addition to any TV
