Hands down improvement from the original Chromecast of 2017. Cleaner interface, faster processed and connectivity make this a much better experience. Only gripe is that voice control still lags behind any of the Amazon products (no voice search or control in certain apps is a glaring omission). Another one that may seem obvious is no Apple TV+ support.

I like the upgrade to the remote control aspect. it has been easy to connect the phone to the tv. i had not tried the new one with my laptop. I had the old version which was connected. someone commented the new might not pick up from a laptop. if that is true that would definitely be a negative. overall i am very happy with it.

Replaced my aging Roku 4 and within a day the Roku was already unplugged and collecting. The interface is intuitive, the suggestions are helpful, and being able to control to TV with my Google Home products is a nice addition to impress friends and be generally lazy.

Ended up purchasing two of them to replace my fire sticks and the household. Best decision I could have ever done. The UI could use a little improvement but overall the speed and stability of the unit far surpasses anything the fire stick or fire TV cube did for me.

The new updated Chromecast is easy to use and the fact that it stores your information when traveling is a plus.

I bought this because my current smart tv interface was very obselete and would crash a lot. I already owned an older chromecast but not with google tv. This was hands down a great decision and I use it literally every day.

Took a bit of getting used to compared to the original chrome cast I have, but this is amazing once you have it all set up! The ability to have all my subscriptions in one spot makes life easier. I use mine everyday for shows and kids movies

It's a great streaming device and its easy to use. Familiar with Android and Google, then buy it as you see fit.

Previous things didnt work very well, but this one is awesome! It connects quickly, and was super easy to setup. Definitely recommend

Was considering buying a new smart TV because our current LG isn't receiving updates anymore and isn't compatible with many of the new streaming services. This was the perfect fix and I didn't have to buy a new TV. Really easy to use! Would purchase again!

Love this! Perfect for Chromecast enthusiasts. For anybody that doesn’t like to use their phone as a remote, this is what you need. Android TV is so much better than Roku it’s insane. There is literally no reason to pick Roku over this device. You won’t be sorry

I have several Rokus for the house but wanted to try this. I installed it on my main TV and I love it. I'm primarily a Google and Android guy and this makes it so easy to pick shows from YouTube TV or YouTube or Netflix etc. It's a better interface for me vs Roku.

Just what I needed. I use Plex to stream media around the house and remotely. My 4k TV can't handle the formats coming from Plex (and I don't want streams transcoded). I tried using an XBOX One but the audio sync is always an issue. I upgraded the video card in my PC to a 4k capable model, but it can't handle HDR content very well. So I started looking at streaming device options. I'm deep in the Google ecosystem so I figured for the price I'd give it a shot. Hallelujah! This thing is awesome. Setup was easy breezy, lemon squeezy. It's been working well, controlling my TV and home theater receiver. The biggest drawback is the size of the remote and button layout. And dedicated play/pause, fast forward, rewind, skip buttons would have been great. I will definitely be buying another unit for another TV!

Was not sure what to expect, but very happy with the Chromecast with Google TV. Very easy to set up and the user interface is easy to use. Added the various streaming services and now easy to see and search our YouTube TV, Disney+, Discovery+ and others.

Works amazingly! I can seamlessly cast whatever I want, and I now have full voice control of my TV. Not to mention that it groups all my streaming services into one feed, no more browsing each app for what I want to watch.

This was another purchase for my brother as he does not have a smart TV. He loves that he can stream different app like NetFlix and Amazon Prime to watch. And it comes with a controller. Affordable and convenient!!

I love this product. This is the best interface for YouTube TV integration. It is nice to use on my Roku TV so I don't use the Roku TV part of the TV . Maybe I should get a Samsung TV to use this on too. The remote curve sucks and it's difficult to hold at times.

A nearly perfect streaming device. Google's often buggy Bluetooth support in Android causes issues with this device, too. Bluetooth connected headphones and speakers might disconnect or cause odd issues in some apps. Highly recommended if you don't use Bluetooth but, even if you do, it's a great device; just be alert for unexpected issues.
