I have to say it's one of the best streaming devices that I have ever used. And I have used multiple streaming devices when I bought this one I had a fire stick now I would never go back to Amazon

The high praise is founded for this. Great clarity whether streaming in 4K UHD, HDR, HDR10. Haven't had any buffering so far. In fact I haven't turned on my Nvidia Shield since I purchased this for video streaming content.

It's a good product, I have several throughout the house and they make old tvs seem like new ones

I had Roku prior to buying this one & for whatever reason this one has a problem staying connected to my wifi, and no I haven’t changed internet providers, its been the same since my Roku was hooked up. That's my only complaint. I like having the voice command, makes it easier & quicker to get to what I want to watch.

This will change the way you watch TV. One of the best Google hardware products there is. It puts all of your streaming apps in one place. It is easy to setup and will turn any older TV into a Smart TV. I highly recommend it.

My first Chromecast 4K, HDR. Now I got a second one for home. I will tell for me the best feature is to have a Bluetooth connection. I connected my B&O headphone very easy, you don't need to fine a app for. The remote is very good design and easy to use, thank you Google team.

This device is awesome because with this we can speak commands to YouTube or anything for any other platforms. Thank You Best Buy.

I love this little device. I have the fire stick and I was skeptical about getting this but when I did, I immediately spot the difference, I’ll pick this over the fire stick any day.

Excellent stream service. This one is better than the last version. It feels faster and smooth on the menu. Quick response and don't need to connect the smartphone.

I bought this for 2 main needs: having a remote for YouTube TV and as a solution for a bad Wi-Fi chip in my 75” Vizio tv. The remote fills my needs and the Wi-Fi replacement is a good alternative.

Works great. My non-smart is now everything my much more expensive smart TV is and even faster.

This is our 3rd Chromecast in our home. We prefer this over any other streaming device. Never have problems like the Firestick, or limitations like the Roku. We love our Chromecast and will keep streaming with these.

Google TV with the Chromecast has the best interface plus you can cast things to it very easy and it has the best value as well.

Has Google TV, which was my main reason for buying it. Had a tcl with roku and recently got a tcl with google tv and liked the Google tv much better than roku, so bought this for my other dumb TV. Cons: When setting to 4k 30hz, it'll revert back to 1080p for some reason which I haven't figured out yet. Others online also seem to have the same problem. I also use a generic usb c to gigabit ethernet adapter to make it hard wired. It dropped the wired connection a couple of times when it goes to sleep and wakes back up, had to power off and on for it recognize the adapter again. Also read this happens to others. Solution for me was to disable the sleep timer. Also, can't seem to control it from my phone, so if I lose the remote, probably would need to buy another. Can't seem to cast from my phone to it either. I hardly ever cast anything, so doesn't bother me, but not sure if it's due to the ethernet adapter or what, but won't work and i dont care enough to try it on wifi. Other than that, works as expected.

While the earlier chromecasts were great for being able to shift a TV program from my phone to my TV set the new Google Chromecast is an entire Smart TV system. I really love having a remote control.. finally

Google TV is the best TV OS I have yet found. Easy to use and it just works. If you can't find the TV you want that already has it, then buy this and use it instead of what your TV comes with. That is what I had to do.

I really wish TVs would continue to receive software updates instead of all of the new software features being exclusive to the new model each year. Introducing Chromecast. I use this exclusively instead of my $2,700 OLED LG TV's built-in software because I purchased that in 2017 and despite it having the processing power it hasn't gotten any worthwhile software updates since 2016. For me, this is the fix to a problem that shouldn't exist but it's a good fix. It works pretty well with google home too but a lot of programs won't actually open completely via voice command. It will open to the user select screen and ready up the content in the background but you have to select a user before it will start to play. When casting content it is more seamless and fortunately this may be fixed someday because this thing DOES get software updates. YAY.

Access to all streaming subscriptions including HBOMax and can search across all of them in a single search field. Also keeps track of you are watching regardless of where so you can quickly get back to it on another day.

Have been using this for 3 weeks now,really easy to set up and use.So far I really like using this and there are a lot of third party apps you can download after a little playing around on it.Really nice and convenient.

I got this as a backup for my Rokus since the carriage dispute over Yttv . (Which Roku seems to have with everyone). Instead I am loving this dongle. It is 5g not 2g, I added bluetooth earbuds. Also I went to the store and downloaded a Internet Speed app , and it measures 255Mps. wireless. My Ethernet cable can't do that. It controls the volume, and on/off. So this was $50, my Roku premiere was $35. Good job Roku I am gone. The home screen put me off at first (ok I still use a slide rule), but now I am talking to the remote to change channels and find stuff. Scotty Beam Me Up The BB FedEX communication was a little screwed up, and it did not show shipped until it was delivered which cause me to call BB and complain.
