Works as good as the Apple TV. The only downside is all the advertisement, but once you click on one of the apps the advertisements go away.

Solid Streaming Device

It’s really nice for the price.

Was a little tricky getting Dolby Vision and Atmos to work on Netflix. Doesn't seem to support those on some apps like my Xbox does but it's really nice for casual viewing. I have a Logitech remote system but I do keep this lil remote out for the voice functions.

The UI is solid and can be customized. Most apps you can't get from a tv app store is available to download with this.

It's so nice to be able to pull up a show without actually needing the remote and the fact that I can schedule something on my calendar or see who's at the door from my TV is very awesome.

I got it to replace a Tivo 4k because it kept freezing on me and got really frustrating. It's a simple device, and I love the remote. I want to purchase them for all of the TVs in my house.

Since my home is loaded with Google products, especially lights, I decided Google Chromecast would be a great fit! LOVE it.. easy to set up. If you use Google on your computer you understand it a little already! Just plug it into your TV, follow the prompts and away you go. Easy Peasy! Do I recommend it? Yup.. i have 2 TV's in this house and Google hooked up to both. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! GET one or two!

Frankly we haven't used for anything else since all TVs are already smart TVs but didn't support casting as I would have liked.
