The fact you are able to control source input and not need to rely on smart switching with HDMI-CEC or ARC/E-ARC is great. And it supports all the HDR standards as well. Ended up going witb Apple TV just because it has an ehternet versionbur if i could have kept the Chromecast, I would.

I used to have the old Chromecast where you could only stream by connecting your phone or device. This is a revelation and worth every penny.

Irs simple to use, displays all the video formats I use, and finally comes with a remote. The only thing is change is that I'm not really a fan of the single format in general.

The only app we have had trouble with so far is Disney Plus. I also wish the cord was a little longer so we could have it in front of our tv for better signal reception. My husband loves having the remote though.

Google TV's interface is modern, easy to navigate. The hardware works great, no issues. WiFi is solid. I only wish the controller wasn't so slippery.

Easy to set up fast without the ethernet cable converter. If your paying for Netflix, Hulu, etc... this is your best option.

The only issue I had was connecting this to hotel networks. I was never able to connect it to any even after talking with the Hotel Techs.

I liked it so much that I have it plugged into an Andriod TV. It is fast enough. The only issue I have is that it causes my receiver to change to this input when I am trying to turn on my Xbox, which is pretty annoying.

Love this thing compared to Amazon Fire sticks, not sure what it is but I just like the Android system a lot better. I have installed an app called SmartTube Next on it and it's great, YouTube with no ads, it's a game changer! It's very quick and responsive, I also use it with a projector that doesn't have native netflix support. If your TV is only 1080p, then of course just go with the 1080p version but the 4K processing power might make it a smoother browsing experience.
