    This thing is absolutely fabulous. The 4K resolution is amazing and I don't even have a 4K TV. I will admit it is extremely hard signing into some of these apps on the Google Chromecast simply because you have to activate it on your cell phone or through a website. Some of that is not as straightforward as it could be but it is doable. The only thing that I wish it had or that I wish it could do was rewind or fast forward like the other apps on your cell phone allow you to do.

    i just purchased the google chromecast. i have also purchased the roku 4k and the amazon firestick 4k. i have found the chromecast has a lot of the same apps has both of the other streaming media players have. i just with it had the spectrum app like the roku. if you are a spectrum cable subsriber the roku is what you want. it processes changes very quickly. going from one app to the other. i am still working and trying to find out everything is has available to me.

    Works great! Much easier to connect and certainly makes any TV a smart TV. Only part I didn't like is that is HAS to plug into an outlet. No more using the USB on your TV.

    We moved on from Roku when google had its fight with Roku. They removed YouTube tv and threatened to remove YouTube. So we went this route and decided not to go back when the issues were resolved. This is primarily due to the simple breadth of apps on the system and the integration of YouTube tv into google tv. A live guide always available and not having to open up an app to see what’s on tv, sign me up!
