This is, by far, the best. It catalogs the movies your own through different providers and organize them by genre and makes suggestions. The only minor hiccup? sometimes it can’t see my wireless network when every other device can. Usually requires a restart.

There could be several reasons that can affect the performance and connectivity of your Chromecast and we’d like to rule out the possibility of your Wi-Fi connection being the cause of this issue. If you're willing, we suggest trying the simple steps below:
- Check for possible interference. Appliances like your microwave oven, refrigerator or even your neighbors Wi-Fi network may cause interference with your Chromecast.
- Check for possible congestion. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve some bandwidth space and you may check if your experience will improve.
- Ensure that your Chromecast is in a line of sight with your Wi-Fi router to get the best signal strength and Wi-Fi coverage.
- Restart your router, mobile phone and Chromecast.

Plus tired of the HboMax and Peacock battle. I was never a fan of the old Chromecast, just because I like having a remote. We bought one of these a few weeks ago, and just bought a 2nd one. We have used YoutubeTV for a couple years, so that integration on the Home screen is nice. Love the "Home screen" that grabs data from different services.

Chromecast with Google TV (4K) is pleasingly much better the the plain Chromecast that is close in pricing. It does so much more. I got it for a friend and now I'm ready to get one for myself.

It turned our non-smart TV into one. Just when I was thinking about getting rid of the TV, Now my investment in the TV can be extended for only $50. I moved the old Chromecast device to my bedroom TV that was already a Smart TV, so I can now cast stuff to it, too.

It's nice to have show suggestions from the home screen. But if you are not a techie, you may have problem with doing the setup. I like the Roku for this very reason. The only reason I bought this was because HBO Max was not on Roku. Oops... It is now. Google requires you to setup the device with Google Home app on a smartphone. Not the easiest way to setup a new device. The volume and power buttons are not the smoothest either. Roku is much better as well. Maybe future fix can make this better?
