You're not limited to the Chromecast interface (Google TV). It's easy to cast to the TV from your mobile device, PC, or laptop. It can also pair wireless blu tooth headsets, which is a great option.

But 6 months in and its not a turtles oace like tye old model. I still see room for improvement whne it comes to responsiveness.

We got this so we could stream HBO Max. I like that it gives me suggestions to watch on the Home Screen from all the different platforms we stream from. My kids & I also love looking thru pics since the Chrome-cast has the option to use pics from my Google account as a screensaver. We are very happy with this so far!

It has faster processing compare to my Samsung 4K Q8FN, you can also search movies and it will tell you where to watch. I wish they gave volume control on the top not on the side. under $50. you can't beat this.
