Out of the box is fine for normal uses with streaming apps. White color will yellowed at time.

I wish it was a little bit more snappy though, and that it came in more color variations. Any new user should be aware that the remote is very compact, and that the wheel and center button is used for pausing/rewinding/fast forwarding in videos and menu navigation outside of videos. So it could be confusing for elderly users to use at first.

This is by far the best budget streaming device. Chromecast built in and google tv make this the best you can buy for the price hands down.
