Superb especially if you have Youtube TV.

It integrates very well with YTTV and, in fact, has better live guide than the native Youtube TV app guide. My only issue is that I use my Sony Bravia TV remote to control streaming devices like this (e.g. Roku, Shield TV, etc.) and it works with all of the controls for this EXCEPT that, while it turns the CCWGTV off, it will not turn it back on. Which means we have to keep that remote around just to turn it on.

Not a Roku killer, but worth it

This latest version is almost a "must have" upgrade. An important feature for me was the audio decoding output. The new Chromecast seems to do a much better job of providing audio signals. The user interface is busy but not confusing once you get familiar with the lack of divisions between streaming apps.

First few weeks there was a major sync issue with audio and video on all channels, but they seem to have fixed that in a release. The remote is extremely light, and the position of the circular buttons at the top make it hard to use without it flipping in your hand as you pressed buttons, etc. Once you learn how to firmly hold it in your whole hand, you can overcome this issue. Overall a good product which can use some minor updates to make it a perfect product.

Must have for any TV

It also gives us free channels which has been a huge plus since we remove cable subscription.

Simplifed Casting

All previous models we only designed for casting, Google TV changes the game for a far better experience.
