You can manage or configure your Chromecast Voice Remote to control devices like the TV, receiver, or soundbar. You can also set up the volume, power, and input buttons. If you haven’t configured these buttons when you first set up the Chromecast with Google TV, you can set them up in Google TV settings. Once you set up the voice remote's power, volume, and input buttons with your devices, it should be able to work via infrared (IR) for many devices. For example, Samsung does not have a Twitch app. I like that it has a remote, but I do wish it was bigger. I only wish that the product came with an ethernet adaptor, early on I had issues with the Chromecast disconnecting from my wifi constantly, but latest update seems to have fixed it. Still, I'd prefer the stability of an ethernet cable.

It also gives us free channels which has been a huge plus since we remove cable subscription.
