The TV hung unused for over two years. Now with this device I can stream video on Google TV to it again. I can even stream all my Spectrum cable channels using Chromecast to cast the Spectrum app from my phone to the TV.

This would be perfect if the search was better, like Roku. Many times I've searched for something g and got shown only options to purchase when I know it's available for free on services, especially the ones installed. Roku never failed in showing all viewing options everywhere.

We'd recommend that you uninstall the streaming services if you don't have a subscription to them which may help in resolving the issue. Here are the steps below:
-From the Google TV home screen, scroll to Apps.
-Scroll down to the "Your apps" section and find the app you want to uninstall. If you can't find the app, scroll all the way to the right and select See all.
-Hold the Select button on your remote until a menu appears.
-Select View Details: Uninstall.

I love that all the apps are built in and I don't have to use my phone to stream anymore. The video quality looks amazing when paired with a 4k capable TV. The included remote works great and I love that I can search for shows and movies with my voice.
