So i ordered this to upgrade to 4K. But just the added hassle and complexity and not able to get my favorite ambient mode screen as soon as i stop casting is not worth the upgrade. Returning and going back to Chromecast Ultra

My favorite feature is using the voice remote to find a show or YouTube video easily and having it poop right on the screen, The TiVo button on the remote brings you back to the TiVo home page every time. I have also noticed it is learning my family’s viewing preferences and is recommending shows we would like as it did with the movie “Palm Springs”

I cant believe google is giving this excellent product away for just 50 dollars. The remote is a great addition to this next generation chrome cast. I just love the simple but effective design of the remote. It more like roku but for half the price! You cant go wrong with this product.

In reality it took over 30 minutes for it to stop saying it couldn't connect to the internet . Once connected ..no issues !!

I have 2 of these and 1 Roku Streaming Stik+ and I prefer the Chromecast. It just feels more intuitive. My only complaint is the shape of the remote (wish I could have deducted only 1/2 a star). That little sucker is slick and would often slide right out of my hand. Luckily there are now dozens of silicone covers being made that totally fix that issue.

Using my computer I stream games to it and playing using a Xbox controller I connect via blue-tooth. This thing has so much versatility there's not much I don't use it for.

It works well with your normal apps, but on my tv, I feel like the picture could be better within youtube tv specifically. It almost appears to have different color settings than my tv app, so not sure if I need to adjust those again or what not. Either way, it works but I honestly haven't used it much other than when I want to cast something to my tv from pixel phone.

Feels slows going to the home screen. I love the content base over the app base. Not all apps available. Big problem it's the lack of support for the nest cam with google accounts. Also the official google ethernet adapter isn't connecting. I'm returning it and trying a another.
