I still slightly prefer the Apple TV 4k, but this is a close second and a no-brainer for the cost difference. The menu is straightforward and much less cluttered than FireTV and more modern looking than Roku. If you are a YouTube TV user, it's especially great with the integrated guide.

Is better that a smart tv. But remote control is very fragile, handle with care, because I not give 5 star

Easy to connect Bluetooth speaker and mouse.

You just need a USB port to get started. The sales rep was helpful in explaining the capability of this device and helped us make the right choice.

One hiccup though; the OS does not support attaching a flash drive that is formatted any way other than FAT32. (you can connect a USB-C hub and connect a flash drive or ethernet adapter as long as the power supply for the hub is over 35 ish watts) Hopefully an update will fix this as I would like to use this to play back up tv shows or movies.

The remote feels a little cheap/slippery, but hey, at its price point, it's nearly impossible to beat.

The look and hook-up ability are much better in my opinion that they have had been in the past. While good, I'm only giving it 4 stars because it is way too complicated to use and figure out how to do even the simplest of things. The learning curve is way too large with not nearly enough instructions.

It was fully functional in 10 min out of the box, with minimal input. The only issue I had with it was the USB power cord requires to be plugged into the wall, but the cable is short. It's shorter than the last gen Chromecast cable.

For example, using the voice remote, one can search for a movie or TV show through all of those services. Before, one had to search through all of the services one at a time. Google's new Chromecast solves this as one search.

The concept of having all of the content from all of your services in one menu is great. But it does still need some of the kinks worked out. Most specifically the “Continue watching” tab only collects episodes from some apps and is a little inconsistent about when it updates. Otherwise I can’t recommend this device enough. I think it is the best deal in streaming devices.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.don't understand why this thing doesn't work. 1st of i have like 6 chromecast... this one is my 1st 4k unit. once installed and after programming the remote to control the TV and sound bar, this junk would not work right on the chromecast itself. cannot move the cursor to the right to settings.. had to type it in the search screen... then i launched tubi and was fine, then tried netflix and after signing in, could not return to the chromecast home screen. the home button did not work. so the unit is now stuck on Netflix.. will try again tomorrow.. if it doesn't work sending this junk back...
