I bought two of these and they were a great addition to both TVs in my house. I did have to utilize the power cord for both applications of use. The chromecast works flawlessly with Google Home and adds additional functionality to power off TVs if they are left on while no one is using that TV.

The Chromecast with Google TV is an affordable way to get nearly every streaming service in one place. Google TV will learn what you like and recommend content, and having the power of Google Assistant at an arm's reach makes this an incredible streaming dongle.

After purchasing many different firesticks, fire cubes, etc... We switched to the Chromecast! It's such a breeze compared to others, nice layout too. I like how it automatically connects to your Google play store account and can charge the card on file whenever you're purchasing something.

Great way to stream, and the can stream HBO Max, which is something Roku or the Fire Stick don't do. That might not be important to some people. I also use YouTube TV for my streaming service, giving up the more costly Directv service. Anyway, the only negative is the small remote. It takes a while to use.

I bought this for a limited purpose: to be able to stream HBO Max, which is still unavailable on the Roku boxes I already owned. It's been fine for that purpose, It's also useful for screencasting from my Android phone and Chromebook, since their Google-created operating systems don't play well with Roku.

Love how Assistant is so tightly integrated with the experience. The only thing I don't care for, is the remote is slippery! It is a dry, soft-touch coating, which (particularly in these winter months) feels like it could slip out of my hand if I'm not careful! Otherwise, I highly recommend this unit!

Love this device and how responsive it is. Being a youtube tv subscriber makes it all the more worth it with the great integration of the app, guide etc from the home screen. This is my second one for an extra TV replacing my roku that was so slow

Great upgrade - buttons need to light up and volume also move to the surface.

I have been having trouble with a tv that is set up as a wireless. The device I bought at Best Buy solved my problems. Isaiah Aric knew exactly what I needed. He was so helpful and gave me his card in case I had questions. Great service.

Really a great device. Cast to it like the classic chromecasts, or use the remote and run apps directly (like you can with Roku, FireTV, etc). Really best of both worlds. Runs Android TV apps, so tons of things already available for it. I bought one on launch day, then quickly bought another one as well.

We use this every day, but it is sometimes frustrating as the UI is laggy for a while. Once you've been using it a little bit the lag disappears and it's a very pleasant experience. I have had some issue with some video formats not playing, or playing very poorly, but the recent software updates have helped.

Overall very good product, enjoy the voice command option. Would get again

I love the fact that I can have my smart TV with my whole Google home system, and the functionality of having all the streaming services in one is amazing. I had an Xfinity Flex box before getting this and this is so, so much better (Flex also does not support Disney+). Only downside is that when I'm casting videos from my computer, the connection freezes or disconnects sometimes on its own.

Got it for YouTube tv and it’s easy to use and easy to get to what you want to watch.

The remote needs some work done on it as it can be kinda flaky and you WILL loose it left and right as it’s about the same size of the Apple TV one which is quite small. Like all things Google I wish their account security was a bit stronger as I’ve had issues with unauthorized transactions and people getting into things that don’t belong to them, BUT I do Like Google products and this a good one

Turn any HDMI enabled tv to a Google TV with thousands of apps, chromecast enablement and google voice. You dont like your TV's operating system like Tizen or LG's Web OS, this device is the perfect upgrade!

I was away on vacation and needed to purchase something to keep my 14-year-old entertained. This was inexpensive, easy to set up in the hotel and got her through down time in the hotel. It will be our constant vacation companion.

Best streaming device I've used. Fast, supports all major services, and the voice search is flawless. I wish it had better integration (search) with some services, such as Vudu, but it's the best, all-in-one solution I've used. I've ordered 4 more since my initial purchase, for other rooms and as gifts.

Great Android TV replacement. Pretty snappy and responsive for the most part. Compatible with all my paid apps from previous Android TV device. Remote is too small and the buttons can be easily accidently pressed, specially those huge YT and Netflix buttons. Volume button is a bit annoying. The default homepage is filled with annoying ads but luckily you can turn this off; setting is quite hidden imo .

This is a great product. I bought three to have one for all my televisions. It less glitchy than tje other brands.
