was previously using the roku stick and changed to the chromecast with google. the change was predicated by the superior function of the google over that of roku and compatibility of google with utube usage. i also prefer the format of the google tv.

It's a great item, but I think it needs to be a little more powerful. The remote is a little small but it works. Can't seem to get it to change HDMI outputs

Was between this one and an Apple Tv just because I have a wide range of Apple products and thought this might fit into the environment nicely but for a fraction of the cost, the Google Tv Chromecast is even better than I expected. Will get a second one for my bedroom TV for sure.

I bought this unit to replace the remote since they don't sell them separately in stores. The Chromecast itself is great, but I've had two remotes have their Enter buttons break in just a few months of ownership. Google did send replacements for the remotes, but they didn't send advance replacements, so here I am with another Chromecast set.

It is perfect. Only reason not 5 stars is that it makes me not need any of the apps or services on my tv itself. Has extra apps I use not with tv alone.

Faster than my Roku or Amazon Fire devices. Just wish it had apple app.

Using this to seamlessly control my 70" vizio m6 qled in tandem with a definitive technology 3D mini sounbar is a breeze and works beautifully.

Excellent product. I Installed a VPN on it, and now I watch netflix of many different countries.

Great product, this is the second I've purchased at Best Buy, third in the house. It's much better than similar devices we have tried. Delivery was fast and arrived in good condition. Set up is simple and fast. Highly recommend!

Love this my biggest grip is the remote can easily get lost

It works good so far, only thing that really had me frustrated at first was the fact that it was not that easy to install at first, for some reason it didn't want to connect to the community wifi, now is running good BUT.... I cannot download spectrum app at all, which is a bummer. Other than that is a working progres.

Fantastic product. Very streamlined. The updates it's received over the years has made this truly a great product. I'm loving the recent addition of live channels.

Bit disappointed due to the lack of being able to use multiple users on a great interface. Another con is that the remote does not work with my soundbar but instead only with the tv volume. Pro is definitely being able to have a personalized section based on things you watched and subscriptions you own.

Works very good. Wish the remote was bigger or a different design, slips out of my hand quite easily. Some times it locks up and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to restart.

It works well. The google button really helps. Especially when you want to check weather or when searching for a show. Its definitely worth buying.

pretty good. interface is decent, moments of slowness every now and then.

Works fine but was harder to set up than it should be, the remote is just to small and do not like button positions for me. I did like the menu selections options set it is easy to see show listings, I have Firestick and Roku units also.
