However, not a fan of the remote. Can’t get it to turn on tv, too sensitive and does not always pause programs.

With this we can leverage all our other Apps and home automation on the Roku TV.

It's ok if you need a budget streaming device but if that's the case you're better off going with a Roku or Fire TV stick. The Chromecast with Google TV is buggy and the interface lags, I spent a week going back and forth with Google customer support due to issues with 4k HDR and Dolby Vision content showing up as pink and green and judging from posts I've read online other users have had the same issues. After not getting much help from support and resetting the device 8 times it sort of "fixed" itself, go figure. Chromecast fans will praise it to high heaven but compared to other devices this one doesn't deliver how it should. It's more like a beta than a real public release.

The one complaint is pretty small memory on it, so watch how many apps you load on it. I would suggest finding a usb c hub with PD so you can add in some addional storage

Better than fire tv

The Chromecast with Google TV is the best blend of features, portability and price. Absolutely recommend.

I wish it came with an extender because my TV's HDMI plug is in the back and the remote had issues connecting every once in a while. I had to purchase a separate extender and it works a lot better.

It delivers the best possible image with no lag. Also, it is very stable, delivering advertising on free streaming sites without crashing (which is a problem with some other devices).
