This is my preferred brand over others tried. I have purchased a total of 7 for all of my TVs so far and have been happy with every Google Chromecast.

Best streaming device and I love it, I have everything and all smart devices with Google they work perfect together.

I've used this product for many years and Google TV is still easy to use and very reliable. I've purchased 3 so far.

This is my second Chromecast with Google TV. I can't say enough how great it is and how practical. It is definitely an upgrade over Chromecast and makes my TV a smart TV. The number of apps offered is wonderful.

Awesome device, if you connect it to your home app and have other devices this will be a good addition to your Google home device collection.

A worthy upgrade from Chromecast Ultra. This is worth every penny. The built-in app works better and more smoothly. And I really like the voice command. Just hold the button and say whatever you need it to do.

Loved it so much I bought 3 for the house and 2 as gifts. The speed of the interface is really the biggest factor for me followed by the aggregation of content from all my streaming sources and a couple of new free ones.

The new device seems to be "Beta" quality at best. In the last 3 hours I've had it, I have run into a few issues: 1. The display keeps switching randomly to 1080p randomly. It comes back to 4K 60Hz on its own - it seems random but this is a big bummer. 2. Though I have turned on "Match content for Dynamic Range" setting, this does not work across all apps. For example, on Movie Anywhere, HDR/Dolby Vision does not kick in at all. It seems to work on Netflix most of the time though. 3. The GUI is clunky and sluggish compared to Apple TV 4K or Nvidia Shield Pro. When navigating, I've had the GUI freeze on me a dozen times in the last 3 hours. 4. The colors in HDR/Dolby Vision mode seem more muted than ATV/Shield. I am wondering if this has something to do with the Color Space not being switched properly or something? Tried it with my LG OLED as well as Samsung QLED - colors appear muted in HDR mode. 5. The Atmos seems to (slightly) lack punch compared to ATV (same with 5.1 surround). As someone pointed out on another thread, sound is loud but not as crisp as ATV. 6. I configured my Harmony Elite remote (Manufacturer: Google, Device: Chromecast with Google TV) - and the "back' button does not seem to work. Other than the aggregated view from various apps, so far I have not found anything worthy enough to replace my Apple TV 4K or Nvidia Shield with this device. I will probably return this and stay with my current devices.

Works great and is simple to set up. If you want to get rid of high cable bills this is a good way to start.

Even better than my Chromecast Ultra. Cheaper too!! And comes with an assistant button on the remote. You can download all the TV apps available for Android. You can install VLC to stream anything from your computer or other devices as well.

We were able to add all of our streaming apps to an older smart TV that did not support the new apps such as Disney+, Discovery+ and others. Set up took a little while, but was not difficult.

Finally got rid of cable and I'm quite pleased with this affordable piece of equipment.

It's got a nice interface. Has a few connection issues sometimes. But it is what it is.

This is so much better than the Chromecast Ultra. Having a controller available, and not needing to worry about casting each video individually with a phone really make this feel like an eventual cable box replacement.

Doesn't get as hot as my old Chromecast. The Google TV is a nice extra but I dont watch much of it. Sometimes the Chromecast can't be found or stops working when there's a change in the programming or broadcast.

Still able to cast from your phone but now organized with recommendations and a remote? Yes please! Great little device. Only downside is WiFi only. But they do offer an adapter if you need it. Sold separately.

Being a regular chromecast user before I was happy that this was coming out and must say that this is so much better as it does everything a old chromecast does plus it makes it much better with the google tv interface.
