Even though the remote seems flimsy, it can control both my TV and soundbar. The real power is the search! It will show you matches over various apps. This is wonderful!

Way better than your regular Chromecast! It makes any TV into a smart TV! And it has literally everything every app you can think of and it’s always being updated!

The device is very glitchy. It constantly signs out of your Google account and you have to keep retyping your password. That's why for the 3 stars. Overall, great device.

I bought this because my chromecast ultra started dying and I wanted to maintain a google device with casting functionality but this thing is really a nightmare. Setup was ridiculous, I had physically unplug the power several times because it would get stuck when trying to pair a bluetooth keyboard. It has profiles but you don't need a pin to switch between them so there is no way to lock your account from other users but they do let you set a pin for your....settings? Why not just lock the whole profile. Big miss. Pins are also a big problem. They made a simple way to enter a pin somewhat clandestine when entering it for your profile settings, but NONE of the apps implement it so you have to go to a visible number on the screen and click it, CLEARLY everyone in the room is going to see what I am putting in and completely defeats the purpose. I also haven't figured out how to get it to recognize the number inputs from my harmony remote (setup as a bluetooth keyboard) so that is not an option either. The UI is SLOW and CLUNKY and riddled with ADS. It also grabs my watching data from my apps which I don't like and was a pain to find how to disable what I could. I ended up putting it in apps only mode to get rid of a bunch of the garbage but they still left a nice big AD across it. I was excited to give google tv a try because I am tired of the ads all over my roku tv but it is no better. They are just copying each other and optimizing their profits and ruining the streaming experience. I miss the original simplicity of the roku where I just had my apps and no ads. The remote is also garbage, you can program the power and audio buttons to three different devices but it can only actually control one so what is the point? It is TOO simple, it needs more, I don't want to be yelling in to my remote to control things, a remote is suppose to be for quiet use not having conversations. I got it on sale and I regret the purchase at that price still, I would DEFINITELY NOT pay full price for it. This is a $10 streaming device at best. AVOID if you have other options!

All my favorite streaming apps in one place! I like that I can travel easily and have access to everything. Some issues with the remote, but able to resolve easily.

This is awesome. I recently purchased an LG CX and it didn't have all the apps my Samsung TV (steam link, HBO Max) had and this device makes up for all that and more.

Much improved over the previous generation. The live guide when using YouTube tv is great! I am liking the Google tv over the roku interface that I have previously used.

I bought this to replace my LG c7's clunky WebOS interface. It's way faster and much easier to use.

I like this device. User interaction is great. I really like how it shows you on what streaming platform you can watch a movie. Also the voice command works seamlessly.

I love the features on the new Google TV! The remote could use some work. It's too symmetrical, so I keep holding it backwards, and it's too small, light, and slippery, so I keep accidentally dropping it. Otherwise, it works great!

Great to have if you don’t have a smart tv. It has it all, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and a lot more. Super easy to set up with your Google account.

Best system made to date. Google has done us a solid again. the only issue is small amount of internal memory so we had to set up a mini HD to handle all apps.

Amazing! Super smooth experience, voice remote works great and streams clearly with almost all the streaming apps available. Huge upgrade over my amazon fire TV stick.

Owned this for a few weeks and so far so good. Love the functionality of the remote and quick access to Netflix and YouTube.

Easy peasy ! Truly plug and play device ! Nice addition for Tv's knew they were Smart ! Multiple networks to choose from, and venues from which to chose !
