If you use HD home run you can watch live but it is only accessible with a voice command. There is no live TV shortcut. The volume control is odd and the controller overall seems strange compared to others in the market. For casual use or an extra tv this should serviceable. A Nvidia Shield should be the only consideration as a primary device.

The UI design is fair... I bought the Chromecast to cast my screen... it still does the same purpose as the original Chromecast.
