Its very fast and connects to most apps quickly. The remote feels great in your hand and the picture quality is excellent.

I purchased this to update the features of an older TV. What I could not believe is that the Google TV interface is a match with my new Sony OLED TVs. No new learning curve. I can't beat that,

purchased to go with new 4 k tv to allow streaming and more access to 4k content. Easy to use and remote is helpful.

As a techie, I'm quite picky about my devices. I've been a fan of the Chromecast line for years and when they announced this new model that properly runs Android TV I was cautiously optimistic. Absolutely blew away all expectations. Short of something like an NVIDIA Shield this is the most powerful smart TV device you'll find, especially at the price point. That power means an immensely smooth experience. It's stuttered maybe once in the month I've had it.

CCwGTV is one of the best choices for devices you have for a streaming "stick", especially for its form factor. It uses USB-C so you can easily add an ethernet adapter for a hardwired network connection, but its wifi reception is pretty good as well. The interface is a bit riddled with ads, but it's also helpful at the same time since it will search all of your subscribed services from the home screen, as long as the app is supported.

The hands down best product you can buy for this price point. It’s fast, the picture is great and the remote works well

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! All my apps for streaming are now in one place. The Google assistant is perfect to find any kind of movie or TV show with just a few key words. My favorite way to use the Google assistant is to find my toddlers movies or shows really quick by saying the movie name and instantly popping up!! This is by far my favorite version of the chromecast. Not to mention that there is a remote that makes everything a million times more convenient than trying to find stuff the old way!!

I've used many streamers and prefer this one. I like the UI, the content and it's recommendations that come up on the main screen. It's easy use and the price is great.

Much better interface and speed than my Smart TVs own apps. Remote controls the rest of the electronics too.

Easy to use. I would only change not syncing to the surround sound. The up/down from some reason goes to the max - or when turning on we use the surround sound remote to reduce the volume. I'm not sure if it is the remote or the surround sound that defaults to 100 volume. Other than that plenty of apps, some basic free channels, and when an upgrade comes we can easily switch out vs a build in wifi for a projector.

Worked right out of the box, our Sharp TV dosn't like the remote but that is not that big of a deal, still works with the chrome cast. Its nice to no longer need a phone to cast from.

By far my favorite device I’ve ever purchased. Just recently bought my parents one for there living room. 4K looks so beautiful and so does 1080p at 60frames surprisingly. You can also by an adapter and expand the storage and run usb devices (keyboard/mouse / controller (if you don’t want to use Bluetooth) sold separately on Amazon or Best Buy. Best streaming device I’ve used yet hands down and I’ve tried them all, don’t hesitate get the google tv Chromecast 4K

Bought this item for me wife to use in her office. Upgraded from a chromecast to Google TV. The remote alone is major upgrade. It feels great and was easy to setup. The response is also great and the ability to add apps instead of just being a streaming device makes it feel more like a media box device like fire tv and apple tv except smaller. You cannot add memory and having a SD slot would have been an improvement... maybe the next version.

I love the Chromecast with Google TV so much this is so much better than regular Chromecast the interface and being able to see everything really makes a huge difference it's also got a faster processor in it so loading videos is very snappy and load much faster The Voice remote is great and I'm so glad that I can interact with all my other smart devices that are connected to the Wi-Fi I recommend this device to anybody I think it is better than any other smart device I've used on the TV

Excellent dongle with remote. We recently moved from satellite tv to streaming and were looking for an easy to use system. We were already using Chromecast for Netflix, but were tired of using phones to control our programs. This frees up our phones and has all of the programming in one place. We liked the first one so well, we bought two more for the other TV's in the house. I do wish that the volume keys were a little bit easier to manipulate. I often turn up when trying to turn down.

Easy to set up, works like a champ. A big improvement over the old Chromecast

I recommend the Chromecast with Google TV to anyone looking for an affordable and user-friendly streaming device with access to a wide range of apps and features.

This is great and mostly the same as the older versions of the Chromecast I've loved for years however, for some reason this is a bit more finicky about connecting to my phone or computer. Hopefully that's just a bug that will be fixed with time but for now it is somewhat frustrating to not be able to cast from VLC player at all or from my phone as easily. Clearly the intention is for you to use the remote to access youtube through the built in interface however when there are multiple users in the house with different accounts and different subscriptions this isn't a perfect solution. These are all minor gripes though and otherwise it works great!
