Gregory, pleased with my purchase. The device is very intuitive and easy to use and set up for the breeze. I like the fact that it has the feature where I could do karaoke on my TV. It's great for parties.

I bought this to use with my Samsung qled TV. While the TV itself has streaming apps the interface was annoying and practically unusable. Every time you have to keep going back to the samsung tv+ whatever so that the sound bar can be controlled. Enter the Chromecast - easy to use, since it plugs into hdmi it functions properly with the TV. No buffering or issues. Love it!

Good entry level streamer. Performance is decent. Storage does fill up fast if you use a lot of apps and I can do without all the ads.

Amazing product at this price. Older smart TVs that don't have all the apps such as HBO Max can be improved with this. The little remote is an added bonus. My only complaint is I wish the remote was a bit larger to allow holding it by the end and use the buttons. Having said that, those buttons, power and TV source are not used that much. I highly recommend it and I'll probably buy a second one for an older non-smart TV.

Pros: Easy setup. I like how it shows all of my streaming services in one dashboard. Input, volume, and power buttons for TV are really nice upgrade from my old streaming stick. Cons: You can't use the USB port on the TV to power it. Must run to a plug. Remote is really slick and smaller and buttons are too so it's easy to press wrong button and/or drop remote. Not a huge deal. Just took some adjustment. Love it still.

These devices have a snappy response and are easy to use. It synced with my existing google accounts and I had it working within an hour.

I really wanted to love this device and replace my Fire TV Stick 4k with it. But every time I use it I'm reminded why I like the Fire Stick better and where Google is lacking. Pros: Navigation is pretty nice and not really complicated. Picture quality is very good. Scrolling is good enough. Ability to side load apps. Cons: placement of volume button is terrible. Only device I've ever owned with volume on side. Google should just straight up copy Amazon here and just put all buttons on the "face" of the remote and make the remote a bit bigger. No ffw/rew buttons would have been a MAJOR deal breaker for me if I'd thought about it before purchasing. Can't ffw/rew with just press of a button. Very inconvenient. Especially when used to ffw/Rew in 10 sec increments, for example. Although you can side load apps, some never show up in apps list. You have to go into settings and go to installed apps to find/open them. If there was at least a "recently used apps" list on the home screen, like on the Fire Stick, that would be enough, but of course that's something else Google is lacking. Lack of a decent available browser, namely for video playback, is a big disappointment too. Nothing nearly as good or user friendly as Amazon's Silk Browser. Practically never goes on sale vs Amazon devices being on sale almost constantly. I'll probably end up selling this device and just hope for a better, updated version in the future.

Very nice user interface. Every app is available from the store. Easy to use remote with voice search, far better than a Roku.

Was a big fan of roku. Spent alot of money buying the ultras. But after so many of them going out I decided to switch to Google and never looked back. And much cheaper.

this is great, you can stream stuff easy and from your phone too, if you have a dog just keep the remote away from them in a place they can't find because it can be confused as a treat especially if you don't clean it after you eat and handle it cuz they might try to eat it thinking it's a bone, my vet doesn't blame me but just a heads up, it's not good for your dog if they eat it, recommend the product though

Better than the app installed software in Vizio smart TV. So easy to setup and much easier to use while navigating the multitude of apps that you can add on this device.

This is an excellent product. I have been a longtime fire stick user, and was looking to upgrade, when this device launched. The price was reasonable so I decided to give it a try. The set up was easy, and I like the interface. Integration with my streaming services was seamless, and the supported apps seem more comprehensive than with the fire stick. Also, the Best Buy staff were very helpful. I strongly recommend this product.

Absolutely wonderful! I love the remote as sometimes it’s a pain to use my phone. Guests can even use it with ease. Thank you!! Only issue I’m certainly having is streaming Hulu. Not certain to the cause, but plays fine casting through my phone.
