I had no issues better and smooth running. It's worth it then fire TV...

Best Upgrade for an older generation TV

Very Very Very simple and easy to use. Also very easy to loose the controller. It's so tiny to what we are used to ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

For those with foreign drama apps

It's great if you only use the approved apps (Hulu, Netflix, YouTube) but if you use other apps like OnDemand Korea (korean app like Netflix) it's not as awesome, hence, the 4 stars. I have to press the Netflix icon on the remote and then cast my screen for my OnDemandKorea app to cast. To reiterate, when I use it for Netflix it's great.

I had a Chromecast from years ago and it was so clunky and unattractive. This one is hidden behind the TV so is unobtrusive, it works well, was super easy to set up.

No longer have to cast PBS and other apps that weren't available to our older TV because the Home screen allows you to access loads of apps that include PBS, Hoopla (free from our public library) as well as some national network stations. Very pleased with our new tech gadget!

I was looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade an older model Sony television that does not have access to apps such as Hulu, Disney Plus, Google Play, YouTube, etc. and this one is perfect - easy navigation, access, app selection, and an uncomplicated remote. Great functionality with a low price.

Already had to reset it twice after updates (error screen) but is seemingly running fine now. Make sure to setup your volume controls for soundbars/arc separately in the advanced settings for best results! Just enough buttons on the remote for a spare TV with a few inputs. I would not recommend trying to use this as an everyday remote for an advanced Home Theatre setup.

If you take the price into concideration it is the best. If price isn't an issue the Nvidia Shield is better for people with a 4K TV 55" or larger because of the AI upscaling. I saw the above as someone that has almost every device. I have an Amazon 4K Fire Stick, Roku Ultra, Chromecast Ultra, 2019 Nvidia Shield (Tube), Roku TV, and many more.
