I have found one streaming service that shows older tv shows that I like to watch and have signed up for it. I will be turning of the satellite tv service as soon as I find a streaming service that has local tv stations on it.

Great purchase for any TV, Including Smart Ones

The chromecast has some apps my own tv doesn't offer, which is very helpful

Great but wont cast Google TV to Google speakers

In my opinion, that’s such be a standard feature to cast the same sound from the Google TV you are watching to any or all of your Google Speakers. Very disappointed that this device does. It so that. On a positive note, it works great, very easy to use and nice to have all of your programming in one place and not have to toggle through separate apps to find a show to watch. Google, add Google TV cast to your speakers!!!!

Great Streaming Device

This is a big upgrade/step up from the original Chromecast. The setup was easy, its very user friendly and has a lot of app options to stream from. The remote has the necessary buttons to take full control of the device. Definitely worth the price, way cheaper than buying a new smart tv.

I like to listen to my internet radio stations through my home entertainment equipment and lost the ability to do that. My Total Tech rep suggested this and the user interface is better than the TV's and I can listen to music again when not watching TV. Easy to set up.

Happy to ditch cable

Setup was super easy and easy sync with my google account. We even take the YouTube TV on vacation with us and stay connected. Devices sit nice and flush behind the TV or behind the Receiver.

But we now use it as our primary interface for everything on our Sony TV with Android OS. We cut the cord and use YouTube TV - and a bunch of other popular services. This works so much better than the Android interface on the TV. Do follow the recommendations to plug the power supply into an outlet - rather than your TV.

I have all Google products in my house and this is so easy to use. You just sign into your Gmail and that is it. Then you choose your apps. I love this!
