The price is good and the remote works well with my tv and sound bar, it’s nice to be able to power on the tv, change inputs, surf apps and control my sound bar volume from one remote.

Now having an interface & remote control is awesome. I have a few Sony Android TV's already as well & the Android TV OS is starting to become my favorite streaming device.

Its more of a firestik/Roku than a traditional chomecast. My old chromecast was gettung old so it was frequently shutting off. This chromecast will also randomly bave the sceen turn pink, which forces you to turn it off and on. Theres a lot of updates that will need to be implemented if we are being honest but its a great solution to most media needs. Ive even streamed steam link to the Chromecast, which works great on games like Stray or Bioshock but isnt bery great with fast paced games (Rocket League, Sekiro).

Chromecast typically requires a high speed Internet connection of at least 20 Mbps and a reliable Wi-Fi network connection. For faster paced games, it may even require a higher bandwidth. We recommend checking if your current Internet bandwidth is possibly congested, or that it may not be enough to enable the best viewing experience with Chromecast. Removing some of your connected devices to free up some bandwidth space, and trying out Chromecast will help verify the issue. If you verify congestion, we recommend contacting your Internet service provider to check your connection and upgrade it if needed.
Alternatively, you may also contact our Chromecast support team for further assistance if the issue proves to be persistent. I decided to go streaming instead of boxes. I went through 3 Rokus in about 7 months. They kept dying out. When I needed to get yet another device, I decided to try Chromecast. So far it's been a great decision. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I can't seem to load Spectrum on it. A Geek Squad guy couldn't do it either. But, I can cast everything from my tablet or phone. That works fine, but a direct app would be preferable. Glad I decided to try this device!

Simple controls. I started watching on another TV, then used this little gadget to finish watching from bedroom TV. Nice & Smart.

On my smart tv I was not able to cast my phone but with the Chromecast it works perfectly, love to have all my tv apps there. I'm a google fan and this was definitely a must.

I searched on Bestbuy and found the new Google TV one ane it was priced very reasonably so I gave it a go. Extremely easy to install and the app is very int.

This new chromecast with remote is by far the best. The remote makes all the difference. I can power on the tv and the sound bar with it. I can even use my Nest speaker to power the tv on.

It only sucks due to the fact that you have to have it plugged into a power socket with the usb c instead of plugging it into the tv for power as well

The remote is a little bit small for my hand, but the directions arrows and the select button are in the perfect position at the top of the remote where your fingers will always find them. The Chromecast itself is amazing. It is far superior to the earlier versions. The apps are very easy to install, and it is possible to add a USBC hub to it so that it can play movies & music off of USB devices (thumb drives and hard drives). I mainly use it for viewing my Plex server, but also with Amazon Prime, HBO Max and Peacock. I have a smart Samsung TV, but the apps rarely get updated or improved, so this is a much better way to add smart capabilities to a TV than relying on the manufacturer's half-hearted attempt to implement smart TV capability.
