It won't allow you to use Xfinity Stream or the live streaming app for Spectrum Cable. If that isn't a problem for you, you'll really like this. I have no other problems with it.

Chromecast with Google TV has access to more than 6,500 apps that you can download from Google Play Store. You'll be able to watch from video apps that are downloaded to the device, or video apps that are on your phone or tablet. Xfinity Stream is not on the list of apps you can download to your Google TV, but you can cast your screen to your TV while watching Xfinity Stream. If you're using an Android device, you can even mirror your screen to your TV over Chromecast while watching the app. Please note that Chromecast doesn't support screen mirroring for iOS devices. Unfortunately, the Spectrum TV app is not on the list of partner apps for Chromecast with Google TV. Chromecast can’t be used as a Spectrum receiver to access Spectrum business TV programming. Works great with Nest Cameras

The device works great and is now my primary stream device. The remote is excellent as well. Well better than others.

I have all the apps I need for watching what I am interested in. Saves me $125 a month. It was easy to install and set-up.

This new Chromecast with Google TV is the best streaming device I've ever owned. It's intuitive, simple to set up and extremely easy to use.

Having a remote is a substantial improvement, over the old one that always required the phone to tune any station.

The remote control added easier control compared to the first generation one i had for years. Ill be keeping this one for a while.

The UI is much better now and was a cakewalk getting it installed and updated. I highly recommend this if you don’t have a smart tv.

One thing that is sort of annoying is the CEC features, when I turn it off(and my shole system) sometimes my receiver will kick back on. Might have to adjust the timing but not sure where that is.

My TV is not new so I can’t get the voice control or the volume but the easy access to my favorites channels is awesome.

Now that it comes with a remote, it makes life a little bit easier, even though Google was a little late to the game with that.

With the right cables and setup options you probably won’t need any of your current remotes because hdmi-Cec allows it to control all the devices connected to your TV. Got two for my house and two for my parents. Google lets you share with six family members. Very satisfied with this even though YouTube TV has increased in price twice since I’ve subscribed.

The fact that I also had access to all my google library of apps was what sold me. All my emulators and utilities work fantastic. You can OTG and add USB storage and Ethernet if you don't have a strong WiFi. Also have tested with PS4 controller and responds quite well using emulators and game streaming. The only cons I can find is the remote being so smooth can easily slip off your hand. It also feels very flimsy but I was able to pair the firestick remote to resolve the issue, everything works but the google assistant button.
