Works amazing had to get these to use my sling also does my sons youtube stuff works quick nit hard to setup just a little tome consuming only diwn side is you need to plug it in to an outlet to work and the cords are tiny i would buy longer ones but its great product

It is a four because there are really no directions to manage to go through programming, etc. The voice control is great but the manual function is hard to learn. We are still learning as there is a big curve and there is no straightforward way of learning except through trial and error.

The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that voice only works for the Google Home portion. I can tell Google Assistant to go to a particular app to open it, which is very helpful but it doesn't work inside of the app. Otherwise, this was a great investment, especially for what happened between our cable/satellite services. If you use Google a lot, Chromecast is best for you.

The cheome is really cool. It connects to the oculus quest 2 and has no issue with connecting. It does take a bit of time to update when you first get it, so have time for that. Definitely worth getting this. It has most streaming apps on there.

Can’t go wrong with this device for $50. Only downside is if you’re using a service that needs to download a specific amount of data to be stored then you might need a USB-C hub and a usb drive. But if you mostly do streaming of standard apps then you’re fine.

I decided to cut the chord (cable television), and go fully internet digital. The Google Chromecast became my tool of choice for non-smart TVs that I owned. Having a Google device that works well with YouTubeTV is important. They work great.

Any TV becomes a smart TV. A little redundant if you already have a smart TV but its a great way to upgrade my kids TVs.

I got away from cable TV and bought Chromecast Google TV with 4K for my home TVs. It was a relatively easy setup since most of my TVs are not smart TVs. They all work fine and easy to use with great pictures. I wish I had done it sooner.

This works well and relatively easy to set up even on an older tv.

Very easy to install, works pretty well. Got the apps I wanted. Remote controller matched the tv and functions well.

was previously using the roku stick and changed to the chromecast with google. the change was predicated by the superior function of the google over that of roku and compatibility of google with utube usage. i also prefer the format of the google tv.

Works perfectly fine, it’s fast and doesn’t have any glitches I’ve noticed.

A bit buggy. Over a Chromecast Ultra, I like having a remote and onscreen guide. But my video freezes often and the whole system seems a bit unfinished. I don't like having to see services I don't subscribe to with no way to hide them. Also, stadia doesn't work on google tv. I may go back to Chromecast Ultra.

I am surprised by how much I like this and I think I might finally cut the cord. I already have HBO Max and I love how easy it is to use on this, I stream Youtube often, and I am liking the free trials that came alone with purchasing. The only issue I have had is figuring out the remote, but I am sure that will be easier over time.
